I agree that this is long been in either hiding or not a priority. But EQUALLY- I think you prove the point that this is requiring a congressional solution vs. executive branch solely.

Want limits on asylum or illegal crossings, or border walls, or more! Why limit how a bill gets to the floor, especially since it's bipartisan. If that is the only viable recourse - even if you think Biden is sitting on his hands,-- force the issue to get to the floor, vote on it, and make it happen. This is political kabuki theater- and it's long in the making.

If REPs want a solution, why conflate executive powers or congressional responsibility- fix the fucking immigration system, hire more judges and change the terms that happen. 6-10 yrs till your case is heard is absolute nonsense. Instead of hiring a bunch of IRS agents; hire judges. Instead of a complex tax code, try a min. tax by consumption or tighten up loopholes.

it doesnt take a genius to see the amount of border crossings in 2019 and 2020 and what happened after good old joe resinded what was in place after trump and when he signed over 30 excutive orders in his first 10 days

no new laws need passing just resind what joe did.

Tell that to Schumer and the Democrats. A reminder - the ONLY border bill ready to go is the one passed by the house, HR2, that Schumer and the Democrats refuse to bring up for a vote. The abomination of a bill that the Democrats tried to pass in the Senate went down in flames not even getting a majority, let alone the 60 votes needed to proceed - so they have no border bill

I don't think you realize how many lawsuits were filed against Trump and his executive orders. Most of which were found to be illegal, and had to be remedied one way or another.
