Well as SGM Scagliotti told me, "you don't walk into the shit and come out the same"....never met a provider that didn't have a back story. Recently I though I had met the most normal gal in the world that was providing, then she told me a bit of her back story, wow. That is one reason I like providers over civilians, WTF does an old grizzled guy who spent his formative years in the highlands of Southeast Asia, have in common with a former sorority girl who married the Radiologist and lives in a 750K house? Bores me to tears (well she doesn't, kinda like her and she just lost some weight but I digress)
BTW one out of every four Americans are on (or should be on) a psychotropic med. Most commonly for anxiety, depression and bi-polar disease. In the hobby I bet the number is more like three of four and that is on both sides of the bed.
