Texas Land & Cattle filed for bankruptcy 3+ years ago... They sold some of their assets and one (1) location remains in the area... It is in Garland...

Maybe too late for the OP, but we gotta know more about what you like and how much you want to spend. We've had threads on the best burgers, best BBQ, best Italian food. Then there's the high end like Nick and Sam's, Mansion at Turtle Creek, Capital Grille. Or maybe you just want TexMex like Pappasito's or Chuy's. Lots of good choices, you gotta give us some hints.

I’m obsessed with Amico’s Pizza. It’s open late. My friend and I walked there in the rain last night for the best pizza ever if you like thin crust.

Cesar's is a good little taco stand, but Ghengis Grill is pretty gross. I've only been there 2 or 3 times with coworkers, but I've never had a good meal there.

Fair enough. I respect that.
Why is Genghis Grill gross to you? Is the food that unpleasant? Do you think if you tried out different veggies, spices, sauces etc. you might enjoy the meal more?
I like Genghis Grill because of how customizable my meal can be over there. I like to add potatoes, pineapples, fresh jalapeno slices, corn, onions, mushrooms, eggs, peas, tofu, udon noodles, pasta, garlic sauce, dragon sauce, lots of cayenne powder, garlic powder etc.
You get a very flavorful bowl of food that doesn't bore you because it has so many different items all in one bowl. You can get a different flavor profile with every mouthful. Unlike eating a pizza or a plate of spaghetti where every mouthful tastes the same. Don't get me wrong, I love pizza and spaghetti but you get my point.

I don't HATE Genghis Grill, but I find the ingredients to be low quality and with a lot of preservatives...which cause me digestive problems. But I don't eat any fast food.

You seem to think I don't like Mongolian grills. I love Mongolian.
Comparing Genghis Grill to a decent Mongolian place is like comparing Subway to a real deli.
The processed ingredients, the lack of fresh veggies, the bland sauces and oils, the low wage employees with no pride. Genghis Grill is just another horrible chain restaurant that cranks out mediocre food and cuts every possible corner to make a profit while doing so.
If you think Genghis Grill is good, you should find three mom 'n pop Mongolian places near you and give 'em a try. I guarantee one of them will knock your socks off and you'll thank me for showing you how gross Genghis Grill is.

No doubt about that. Genghis Grill is a step or two above fast food joints but it's not an upscale establishment. It's in the same level as Chili's, Applebee's etc. Therefore, just like Chili's & Applebee's, Genghis Grill also buys cheap lower quality produce, meat etc so they can make more profit.
That being said, while their produce is not organic, it seemed fresh & tasty enough for me, whether it's their cilantro leaves, onions, mushrooms etc. Kinda reminds me of the vegetables you would find in a place like Snappy Salads.
I've also been fortunate enough to never get sick after eating at Genghis Grill. Perhaps it's because I avoid the meat & seafood there.

Really?
2.5 and 2.9 rating on Yelp and Google and most of their recent reviews are one star and including some saying if Yelp and Google would allow a zero star review, they would give it.
A 16 inch pizza that cost over $20 came out to be a barely small pizza with only 7 slices and it was topped with 2 slices of ham and 5 pepperonis, on a supposedly 16 inch pizza.
WTF is that?
Their food look nasty in the photos.
The only 2 photos that look good are the ones posted by the business owner which were most likely taken off the internet somewhere.

I have a couple of questions based on this comment.
1. Do you expect more slices when you order a larger pizza? Or larger slices?
2. Have you ever cut a pizza into 7 slices? How do you imagine that is done?
I think you're commenting on some made up bullshit.
Competitors often post Yelp reviews to try to drag down new restaurants. If the number of reviews isn't large (which depends on the location and how long they've been open), then I dismiss the credibility of their average rating and begin reading reviews with a healthy degree of skepticism.

Lol crock.
To CG
Don’t put too much stock in online reviews. Many times posters’ have ulterior motives.
Sometimes:
TOFTT and find a hidden gem
YMMV especially when you’re nice and go visit them instead of having them come to you randomly

Did you look at the photos posted on Yelp for it?
Does the food in those photos look like something appetizing and edible you would pay money to put in your body?
111 reviews on Yelp and 78 reviews on Google is not enough reviews for you?
How many reviews should a restaurant have in what length of time they have been in business?
Also go look at the profiles of the folks who posted those 189 reviews, they are not people who just joined Yelp or Google and posted one review and then disappeared.
You are not very smart and you have constantly shown with your comments to be rude and condescending!
Your comments fit your handle:
crock - which is short for the saying being a crock of you know what.
Another person on my IGNORE list which is closing to 500 names.

And I’m all about the meat, lol. Right now, I’m eating at a Japanese BBQ where you can just eat beef and not be saddled by carbs or veggies. Yum.

You should go to Fogo De Chao or Texas De Brazil if all you want is meat.

I don’t eat enough to make them worthwhile. I like Chama Gaucha for lunch. But at those places, you’re paying extra for a huge salad bar that I’m not going to eat. My meat filled lunch today was $12. And I’m taking half home.
Plus, my Asian friends all come here, so I know it’s actually good, lol.
My high protein diet...a curse for me...a pleasure for all of you.
