If some think it's taboo for sexual women to work with children, then they must also believe most men should never be around kids. I've seen some Really Stupid remarks on this board, however, some made here are ludicrous and beyond belief, IMO.

Keep in mind, we don't just screw you guys, we nurture and often care for you. We listen to your complaints, advise you and in some cases make your dreams come true. More diversified, open minded, and compassionate women are rarely found. Who better to care for kids? Nuns? LOL. We've all heard those stories and the ones I've heard ain't pretty....ijs.

Maxi, my longer 2nd comment on this thread had nothing to do with the job seeker coming from a taboo sex background, e.g. Stripper or Escort. I agree with you, that would be ludicrous to think that would make them unqualified to work with kids. My point is it would be inappropriate to lie for ANYONE seeking to work around children because you probably do not know that person's entire background and children need to be protected above all else. My statement had absolutely nothing to do with the applicant coming from any previous background.

Now, the 2nd paragraph of your statement probably has some validity and explains why some dudes are so pussy whipped on here, but seriously, that doesn't make you a better qualified daycare worker to me...Sucking dick for money just doesn't translate to being a better childcare candidate as someone who is a female and may have natural mother nuturing, instincts and skills. I have seen plenty of hookers that are unfit mothers, also, and plenty that are amazing mothers, as well. Those unfit ones, same as the Adrian Peterson type males, for instance, makes me wish there was a Parent License Bureau. But, I raised two sons solo, what do I know?

I didn't suggest that it did. I also didn't suggest paying someone to suck your dick makes one an unfit individual to be around kids. The insinuations about being dick suckers for money makes one inappropriate to care for kids, was idiotic and not a well thought out comment. Ijs

Protect children above all else is my message...Good parents, male or female, know how important this is and background checks are important when choosing someone or someplace to look after your children.

Edit: I remember reading a few months ago a provider offered in-home daycare to the Eccie ladies and several went off on her.

Manslut I am thinking they know each other well in order for her to ask him to be a reference. And I agree that ANYONE working in a care center needs to be checked out. Many non sex worker related employees can be just as abusive, if not more. They are just better at hiding it and not getting caught.

One could say that men who pay for sex and degrade women, have teen fantasies, should never be around kids either. Male teachers are clients too, maybe they should not be around kids, bunch of pervs with no morals, ya think?

The stripper seems to be seeking a better life for herself, why hold her back. If she makes it to the reference part of the interview process more than likely she has already passed the fingerprinting. It is impossible to work with kids even with a misdemeanor. Sounds like she got into stripping when down on luck, or just a young and dumb decision.

I say help her if you know her, and if you feel her character is of good nature. They are only going to ask questions about reliability, etc. Why hold her back from bettering herself?

Well said Kimberdoll, I do like how you and Maxi state your opinions, well written and well thought out.

It's not about holding her back, and the stripper background is not even part of the equation for me, it's more How Well Does This Dude Know Her? How well do any of us REALLY TRULY KNOW someone that doesn't live with us? Those are the only people I really know or have known besides my parents and siblings....Way too many secrets in people's background.

My feelings about this are also grounded in a situation involving a sibling, her child and childcare that I will leave at that.

Kudos to anyone wanting to help a friend in need out, that is what makes this world a better place.
