I have been shaving that area since I was 15..because my older sister did and I thought it was supposed to be done. Its more comfortable for me. In fact the only time I have a "bush" is when Mother Nature delivers my "gift" (yeah right). Every once in awhile I do like to have a landing strip..but that is when I am bored with the completely shaved look.

That's a good point about shaved armpits and legs and such. No one makes a big deal about those in relation to pubescence, even though it falls into the category of good grooming. Oh, but shave the kitty and now we're a bunch of Chesters.

Regarding a "population explosion of bare beavers", I've wished for years the trend would head the other direction, so as to help my erect..., lol. Sorry I couldn't resist, blame it on my handle

I like a little fur on top, with the curlys trimmed down to where they're straight and about a half inch long, and bare all around the playground, but WALDT.

I've always wondered if the acceptable trend regarding female grooming was somewhat dictated by the porn industry. If there's any possibility of that, I've been hopeful for months regarding my preference. I've been noticing lately in that second well-known mens magazine that begins with a "P", having a little patch on top keeps showing-up a little bit more in pictorials.

Yes there are some that equate hard wood flooring with lustful wishing of young things. I was shocked when it was brought up to me. I have manscaped prior to hobbying for years. It was primarily a hygiene thing. Plus, in the 17 years of 'scaping no jock itch. That is a real bonus right there.

I've always been told not to take offense to things if they don't apply to you...and not to read too much into things, either.

It was simply a statement made as food for thought and discussion...no where in my statement is anything accusatory, so just bring it on down a notch. The point I made was one brought up in my sociology class so I thought it would make for interesting discussion here, in much the way it did there.

How is it any difference from a woman being bare and a guy being bare? I shave all the hair off myself and I have seen way more playfulness from the ladies playing down there. If I have hair, the ladies do not spend anytime down there. So, I enjoy the ladies playing down there and I will continue to shave.

The first bald one I saw was in college in '91. She was from NYC, and I was from Dallas. She said she had never had pubic hair. The day is started to grow, she trimmed it off, then shaved once it was thick enough. I didn't see another bald one until the later part of the '90's (other than in porn). I don't care for a shaved beaver. I like clean beavers. I won't turn away if it is shaved, but I like seeing a naked girl from across the room and wondering what it looks like (kinda like making your through the forest to get to the mother land).

I shave everyday.. I don't like stubble or pricklys... I just prefer to be smooth all over my body.. I think it's sexy... Especially when wet. ((blush))
