A fracking boom made the US the world's biggest oil producer. Now its end is pushing gas prices much higher.

Fracking lifted the US energy sector to unprecedented highs in the 2010s. It's now a major hurdle.
The fracking boom was slowing before the pandemic as investors prioritized profits over growth.
That attitude has kept production at pre-crisis levels and helped drive gas prices to record highs

So much for stifling, people on here are fucking retarded and can't do any research before spewing their traitorous bullshit.

Crude Oil Production in the United States is expected to be 11850.00 BBL/D/1K by the end of this quarter, according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations. In the long-term, the United States Crude Oil Production is projected to trend around 12600.00 BBL/D/1K in 2023 and 13000.00 BBL/D/1K in 2024

Watching Anderson Cooper on CNN - bottom line - the dems are eating their own. It's so bad that Biden is breaking records in the "How Bad Can It Get" catogory. Trump didn't get as low as Biden is getting now. You all who voted for Biden should of listened to the Trump supporters.

We'd rather not go full fucking retard like trump tards.

Can't even imagine how fucked up things would be if Trump was president and he didn't have to worry about getting reelected.

Yawn.

The Middle East and oil have been a thorn for decades.

Remember the good old days when the Arabs were always the villian in cartoons.

Saudi and mid east oil flows freely. Most of what we get out of the ground in the US has to be extracted. Saudi oil is much cheaper to recover from the reserves.

We also export our light crude as our 100s of billions of dollars of refining capacity are geared toward heavy crude. If we run short on heavy crude it can idle our refineries as that is what they are designed to convert to usable products.

This is of course extremely simplified for the trump tards.

There should be more outrage over Phil Mickelson and other golfers taking Saudi money out of greed than Biden talking about oil to them and just doing his job and fulfilling his fiduciary responsibility for the American people.

You can't have it both ways. You can't bitch about shit and then bitch when the man you blame tries to fix that shit. It's that simple.

Maybe some of you folks should spend less time blaming Biden for everything and think about how this is not just here in the states. Instead of googling your right wing nut job sites, why not look at this world and use some common fucking sense. I hate to tell you this, but that zombie is not responsible for everything. He doesn't have the power to fuck up the whole globe. If you want to blame someone, I highly recommend you blame Putin for the shit show this world wide economy is enduring right now if you insist on a scapegoat.

Yeah, it’s all Putin’s fault. Your Kool-Aid glass is getting low, would you like a refill?

The Russia thing sures the fuck hasn't helped the situation. They are the #3 producer of oil behind US and Saudi. We have essentially taken their supply off the world market. By the end of the year Europe will cease to be using Russian oil if things continue the way they are in Ukraine.

Except Russia is exporting more oil and making more money than ever.

“The current rate of revenue is unprecedented, because prices are unprecedented, and export volumes are close to their highest levels on record”
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/13/c...d-revenue.html

So Americans get poorer as Putin gets richer. Nice work making Russia great again.

So the oil flows from Russia to a country like India, and we get oil from India... Not like there is a DNA test to tell where the oil (or parts of it) originated from.
