A president can sack his (or her) entire cabinet with a stroke of a pen. Like I wrote, I give them a choice of resignation so they can salvage some of their reputation or an outright firing (I'm such a nice guy).
Yep, getting an "approved" cabinet takes some time because the senate has an advise and consent duty. That is why I would take Kamala aside and tell her in no uncertain terms, this is her last chance. A vote can be taken immediately if you can get the Senate on board. Here's the beauty of it...the Senate is split 50-50. If you can't get 50 democrats, you can pick up 50 republicans with Harris for the win. Plus, you have junior cabinet officers that can pick up the slack with a lot of oversight. Who knows, maybe they were the ones doing any of the work getting done. You might find a diamond in all the pig shit.

I see that WTF found himself being taxed intellectually (that means you worked hard). If you think about this stuff, sitting down for 15 minutes and writing it up is fairly easy. Oh, there are other things to do like sitting down every day and talking to the nation about how good this country is. You know, a fireside chat like FDR. Might take some time to rename some ships like the USS Ginsberg? I only allowed the top ten.
Of course, the democrats will be apoplectic but by moving fast, you're trying to steal a march on them. Also, the House and Senate are pretty much evenly divided. So, if you can't get one party there is always the other.
Yeah, if you pulled this off it makes Biden looks good. Maybe so good that he could actually win reelection. I doubt that he is going to make it and the future of the country is more important than his legacy.
FYI WTF, this took me about six minutes to write as I wait for something from the oven. Multi-tasking...

I have to have "the talk" with Kamala. I need her to rule the senate and I have to put the fear of me in her. She can resign otherwise.

Just sayin'.

But a yes-woman counts.

Not multi-tasking so much as getting an idea out in "paper", as it were. Just let it flow and make it work.

I thought before that you were conflating authoritarian with fascist. Now I'm still not sure. Even more confused. Hard to tell if you're writing about a fantasy land, or trying to make this sound legit.

One of my many favorite H.S. teachers once said, and I'm paraphrasing, "it's not that the story is true, but that it was possible", given the historical events of the time. At the time reading Huckleberry Finn. But now I mostly think of Forrest Gump.

She might take your ass to court.

Workplace harassment, dork.

And the Progressives are saying, "man, if you had just done what we asked you to do". You want to talk about denying reality.

How about you pretend it is 1942 Germany you're Jewish and that something in the oven is your head.

Someone has a Jewish problem.

What I've done here is a thinking game. I used to watch something on TV called MIller's Court. I guy named Miller would gather together some movers and shakers and pose a scenario for them to play out. A Senator might be playing the part of the president, a colonel might be the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and someone like Dan Rather might be an embedded reporter overseas. They'd go around the room...Russia has just taken one of our spy ships on the high seas. The Russians claim a 12 mile limit and we claim a three mile limit. The ship was boarded six miles from the Russian coastline. Begin...

I can't hold onto it anymore. I have to announce that it has been made known to me that Joe and Hunter are both fans of ECCIE. We've probably crossed swords with them. How many people do you know that make lots of postings that are disjointed and many times incoherent? Say hi to Joe. Hunter is almost as bad but he likes butts. So don't just call them WTF and Yassup, they're the POTUS and the SOPOTUS.

Maybe Joe can save his presidency by following my directions.

i've often wondered a few things myself

1. if elvis was alive today would he have a theatre in branson, mo?

2. did taking the name englebert humperdinck help or hurt arnold george dorsey's career?

3. how the fuck did vito coreleone know it was barzini?

4. was it louis farrakhan who was the genius that laid the ground giving the world the idea a man can get pregnant with his number 19 routine?
