Galleria area is a great location. Everything anyone would need is around there.

If you are setting up a permanent incall, you can't beat downtown. You'll hear tons of people whine and bitch stating they refuse to go downtown, but the truth of the matter is, you don't even need people to "come downtown" they are already there and the lack of providers that have a condo/loft/apt. in the area will only work to your advantage.
The thing is, you have to stay there (not live there or be there 24/7) I mean you have to let guys know you are downtown, post it everywhere you can and after a few months, the appointments requests will flood in.
The closer you can get to lightrail the better. I cant say enough great things about the area. Plus, since very few kids live in the area and everyone is so busy w/ their own life, your neighbors wont ride your ass and be in your business. Hell, the lofts where people own the units are filled with small business owners that work from home so seeing people come and go all the time is normal. I actually work in one unit off Travis for 3 entire years. I didn't move until they increased my rent by $700/a month.

Stay in a central area of H town. No matter where you stay there is always someone who will call and say " I wish you were on X side of town, I would cone see you." "X location is too far of a drive."
You will never please everyone.

Brooke is correct. Central is good. I like my neighborhoood near the Galleria for the same reasons, but BW is correct about DOwntown being the most central of all and the non nosey neighbors is a plus.

Galleria, Downtown, Greenway Plaza, Westchase District And Energy Corridor are all good locations. Amenities and traffic may affect your decision. I dislike the traffic and hassle of parking Downtown or in the Galleria.
