Oh, and I bumped the FairTax thread. I want people to read for themselves how you "handed me my ass." Neither I nor anyone else had to "hand you your ass." Your over-the-top ignorance did the most effective job of handing you your own ass than almost anything I've seen in a long time!

You may continue your drooling vitriol over there, so this thread can stay on topic. LOL! You served up enough drooling vitriol in the FairTax thread to fill a 10-acre cesspool, hypocrite!
Enjoy that dream of a utopian commune, Comrade!

Completely wrong. You missed my point entirely.

In the past, I have lambasted posters from both sides of the ideological spectrum for hogging the forum with pointless or redundant threads. In fact, most of my complaints in the past have been directed at conservatives and libertarians, with whom I am more likely to agree on many issues. A couple of days ago, I suggested that the annoying LowRider69 be banned. (For the fifth time, or whatever it would be. It's hard to keep track of how many handles he's used in the past!)

And you may not realize this, but putting her on ignore wouldn't help. I understand that the threads she starts would still show up; there would be nothing in her posts. (Not that there really is, anyway.) Hence, they would still hog space on the forum's page.

Slingblade, if it bothers you that I object to forum-hogging and spamming, or if I simply come off as too acerbic, I suggest that you put me on ignore. That would actually work, since I don't start very many threads!

Why do so many of you ignoramuses flood this forum with worthless threads? More often than not, they contain nothing more than a link or copy & paste of an article of marginal value (or a video), and no accompanying commentary.

You, Whirlaway, JD Barleycorn, SEE3772, and Marshall (LowRider69) would do everyone in this forum a great favor if you'd consider whether there's another thread that's still on the first page and in a similar vein before starting a new, redundant one. Then you can post your stuff there, and other threads that might possibly be of interest to someone could have a chance to remain on the front page for at least a couple of days, instead of getting buried by all the crap.

Flooding the forum with redundant threads is simply a nuisance.
I would agree with you that there are a lot of worthless threads posted in this forum and others....but so fucking what?

Really? Is it really that much of a nuisance to choose not to read them?

There are no rules here so HoustonMilfDebbie can post anything she wants and you can choose to ignore anyone you want.

You can even tell her to shut her whore mouth if you want!

Chill your tits Bro.

As I said before, putting people on ignore doesn't help much if they start a large number of threads. The proliferation still clutters up and hogs the first page, since the thread title still shows, as I understand it. It shoves threads, some of which could be of interest, off the front page.

That's why I don't think it's much of a nuisance to post 10 or 20 times a day (as some people do at times) as long as you're not continually starting new threads or bumping old ones back to the top.

Didn't you participate in the Houston Political Forum back in the ASPD days? (Apologies if I have you confused with someone else.)

I didn't participate often, but seem to recall that the mods got tired of this sort of crap and imposed fairly draconian frequency restrictions on posting and thread-starting. They were pretty strict, as I recall -- something on the order of four total posts per day, and only one thread-start per week. One of y'all posted, on more than one occasion, "And that's my fourth post for the day. See y'all tomorrow!"

I don't favor something that draconian, but it sure make this forum look a lot less junked-up than it does now!

I submit that no one has any justification in starting more than a thread or two per week. Only a fairly small number of topical issues are worthy of discussion. If you take a quick look, I think you'll see that in something like 90% of cases, the post would have fit perfectly well if it had simply been inserted into an existing thread.

Yes, it's very easy!

That's because I didn't start a new fucking thread and further clutter the forum.

Got it?

Debbie,
How much of your earnings do you report to the IRS? For that matter how much of your earnings do you contribute to the UHNSF,

The United Hookers Nursing School Fund, so that other tired, worn out or incompetent hookers can build a new career at your expense?

Did someone mention Michelle Jenneke?

Now redundancy is well-justified in that case!

If you have posted about other's it is irrelevant to me because I am new here so I don't know who does what or not. But since you have brought it up, I say that you should RTM or ignore whomever you do not like . Or simply choose not to read them. As for you being too sarcastic or harsh, I am not bothered by it at all. Why would I read the Political forum if I was that easily bothered.
I suggest that you consider not reading it if you are that easily frustrated.

Captain MoonBat, you need to get back on your meds. I really could not care less what you think of me, but your meltdowns are entertaining.

If you're "not bothered at all," why did you whine about my previous post? And you completely missed my earlier point that putting the spammers and forum-hogs on ignore does nothing to de-clutter the front page. The "post" still exists and takes up space; there's just nothing in it. I suggest that you try to do a better job of paying attention. Or better yet, just put me on ignore if a spam-filled, troll-dominated forum is your preference. If that's the case, you're certainly in the right place!

TFF! One of the forum's most childish and prolific insult-hurlers accuses me of "meltdowns?" What a thick, juicy slice of hypocrisy! By the way, Comrade, you neglected to answer my last question in this thread:

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=1179903

You ignored it, hoping to let the thread fade into the sunset, lest someone actually read the link I posted and see your full colors on stark display. I can see why you'd like to see that embarrassing chapter fade into the twilight. Right, professor?

Once again, which one of us first insulted the other by accusing him of "sounding stupid?" Who started the gratuitous insults?

Fucking hypocrite. You're a real piece of work, ex-professor!

I am not "bothered" by your harsh condescending demeanor.
Or I am not impressed by you berating a Provider. You have no class is all I was politely trying to point out.
I don't know Debbie or you, (at least by this handle).
I do know that if you have the right to bash others for what you consider wrong, I do as well.

Default Slingblade, I'm sure you're a fine judge of class!

If you weren't bothered, then why did you start whining?

And who cares whether I'm "berating" a provider, a hobbyist, or anyone else? Annoying trolls and spammers are what they are, regardless of sex. I thought women wanted equality nowadays, anyway!

I submit that I have not condescended to anyone who didn't deserve it.

You may not be interested in getting rid of trolls, spammers, and nuisances, and it probably won't happen. So don't worry; the attention-seeking spammers probably won't be leaving anytime soon.

If your sensitive feelings are hurt, I suggest that you go out and have a gourmet dinner accompanied by a couple of glasses of fine Bordeaux. You'll feel much better!
