As I have suggested on the other site, if you do not contribute, you don't belong here. So many of the members simply posted eating up bandwidth and did nothing but bitch and complain, say and do stupid things, and never contribute. Many of us including myself will and should tolerate a lot of "crap" other members do IF AND ONLY IF they at least are contributing something. Where my patience grows thin is with the members who do nothing expect get info and never give back.

I like the limited membership

I'm fairly new to the hobby, but have been pretty active and have shed my training wheels. I've posted all of my reviews on ASPD - same handle (save one - a provider who wished to remain anonymous, hehe) and will begin posting here as well. I look forward to some great times on here.

I agree that there have been a few popular providers that have come from those humble beginnings.

I do not read ASPD like I used to but what constitutes a CL/BP troll?

Fubar I agree with the bargain basement hunters on that site being the ruination of the site. But they do serve a purpose sometimes by getting ripped off by a CL & BP provider. I just made my comment because both sites there were mention of BP & CL girls being rip offs. I agree in theory just have a problem with all of them a generalization that they are is the same as VW claiming all hobbyist were cheap asses and infringing on her time. That's my only reason for the comment. No Harm No Foul in my opinion.

That's how I interpreted the OP, the guys that bitch about spending more than $100 a session. There are good ladies that advertise on CL/BP, there are also some rip offs there too.

Reminds me of a guy at BDD that was tipping the dancers with 2dollar bills, well he was continually trying to get a pussy view and the dancers were fending him off. Finally in full frustration he shouted out "But its two dollars" as if that was the magic button!

I guess there has to be a minor league for hobbyists and providers just like baseball. I would consider these BP/CL guys to be in the minor leagues.
Just keep them off of eccie please!

I do not have a problem with anything you said CF. Better to have others weed them out first and then let us "season" them.

I DO NOT want to put words in any ones mouth.

I understand that as ECCIE grows it will establish multiple levels of membership with strict criteria for the top levels. Personally I like this idea and hope this is ECCIE intent. As the board grows it will be difficult to keep out individuals who MO is that of a BP/CL guy who only wants to pay $100 for a premier provider. In my opinion with a strict bylaws and membership criteria these guys will go away when they never can achieve the highest level(s) of membership thus having limited access to information.

As mentioned above we need provider and member guidelines/bylaws i.e. I will respect a providers time her pricing structure and most of all her. I will go to appointments clean, I will have wiped my ass and have clean under wear on etc. you get the point. I know these are common sense things; however I have been flabbergasted at how many stories I hear from our community about hobbyist showing up smelling like they have been in a sewer for a week then spend 90 minutes with the lady (paying for 60) and wonder why she is a tad agitated as he walks out the door.

Unless strict membership criteria and bylaws are put in place soon I do become concerned that as ECCIE enters its hockey stick growth phase the current membership and owners will go through similar pain that ASPD went through in its early years

I advertise on BP.

The Dallas Observer was my Very First and ONLY (for the First 2 years in the business) place that I advertised. Once a week...with my little Text ad.

Once I was Online...it was DFW Escapes, Eros, ASPD, and all the others.

But, I never wanted to stop my One little Ad a week with the Dallas Observer.
I mean.....how would my guys find me? If all of a sudden, my ads were just Gone!
Thaaat's how they found me for the last...whatever years!

So, when the DO went with an on line version..."BP".
I just shifted from the circular to on line.

Once a week for the Last 9 YEARS......I post my little ad.

Damn, I should get some serious discount!!

So, don't count all the BP ladies out!

MORE LADIES POSTING IN THE COED DISCUSSION AREAS!!!!

I think that alone would do a lot for this place!!

I agree that the ladies need to start posting more on ECCIE to get the momentum going. It is ironic that you are the one and only provider to post on this thread so far. I was hoping to hear more from the ladies on what ECCIE is in their opinion.

You keep posting those ads girl! I got my start with providers from those backpage ads. I will say that over the last year or so there seems to be a lot more bait and switch going on. Oh well! Enough people find out about a good thing and somebody is bound to try and take advantage of the situation. Glad to see your back and hope you are feeling better.

I don't post reviews as often as I used to anywhere. ASPD, TER, here, etc. I just don't have the time to do it right and frankly don't hobby as much because of competing time demands, mostly from work. But I plan on posting primarily here with one exception -- one post every 90 days (as best I can keep up) to keep my ASPD BCD privlidges intact. I consider this my primary hobby home now, at least in so far as reviews are concerned.

I like the lack of traffic here. It is fun ---almost like being in the secret club. This board, in addition to the lack of female drama, offers fresh perspective without the "old guard" pecking order of male veterans at the other place. I am forging new alliances and making new freinds here so I consider this my own little secret. Also, to date cannot beat the amount of personal intel here---direct pm's referring me or steering me to some dynamite UTR providers has been ultra productive!!!

Tried to get a buddy of mine to look at this site, but he wanted the traffic and volume of the competitor. When I ran into a little resistence in getting him over here, the lightbulb went on in that this place is something special, not neccessarily well trafficed YET, not for everyone but a really cool place to be in on the ground floor. also the layout is cleaner and the navigation is very user friendly.
