Biden is at close to or above 50 %.

That does include alot of people voting for him in order to get rid of Trump. But that fact doesn't matter why they will vote that way,it just matters that they will vote for Biden.

It is significant that so many people are going to vote "against Trump".

I am not saying "place holder" is an admirable thing.Just acknowledging that it is that way.

Biden is not some young charismatic, dynamic leader poised to take our country on some drastic new course.

People want to go back to a more normalcy like we had before. They are tired of Trump.Worn out.

The only decent talking point the democrats have is to blame trump for the corona virus pandemic. I could see a lot of people buying into that along with the racist/white supremacist bullshit. That's all they are going to talk about over and over again, so no need to actually watch the convention.

I could see that. Sad part is, I don't think a Biden victory, at this point, will quell the rioting...it will only embolden it.

are they? or are you putting too much faith in polls that proclaim "overwhelming number of Americans hate Trump" only to read the fine print and see the sample set is 1,100 people mostly Democrats? yeah .. that's certainly conclusive proof .. like Hillary's "huge, insurmountable lead".

how'd that work out for that old cunt?

'Worn out' by the incessant LSM and DPST lying attacks on Trump - their hatred over the 2016 loss in without end or botom. Going back to a normalcy - the DPST's will promptly 25th Amendment biden - then turn Marxist harris loose on america with every Socialist nutjob wet dream the Marxists can dream up.

There will never be a return to representative democracy under harris and her Marixts - only a totla destruction of America under their jack-booted Communist totalitarian wet dram socialist regime!

As I replied to your earlier post, Trump's approval rating has improved from -15.5% on June 26th to -12% today. Impressive but still very negative. Obama was at 47.8% approval on this date in 2012 and Trump is at 42.0%.

Trump still trails at the national level by about 8% when all polls are averaged in. In the battle for the House, Democrats lead by 7.4%. I believe that Democrats led by about 8% on election day 2018 when they won back 40 seats. But that lead at one point recently was over 8.

Republican Senate seats are in tough battles in Colorado, Arizona, NC, Iowa, Georgia, Maine, Montana, and even Kansas.
The only real seat in jeopardy for Democrats is Alabama, a very likely loss.

Latest poll by Trafalgar Group has Biden and Trump even in Minnesota. Global Strategy Group has Biden +2 in Texas. Interesting. Biden still leads in most of the battleground states including Florida. Let's see what happens in the polls after the conventions.

As far as the continued faith in Rasmussen. Out of approximately 20 companies that ran polls in 2018 predicting the House outcome, Rasmussen came in dead LAST. Since the company over-samples Republicans in their polling, if a Republican pulls an upset, they look great. On average, the look poor.

"In 2018, Rasmussen Reports predicted that Republicans would win the generic ballot by 1 percentage point while the actual election results had Democrats winning by nearly 9 percentage points."

Under Trump:

HealthCare an "F"
Immigration a "D"
Foreign policy a "D"
Race relations an "F"
Economy a "B" if you are rich, a "C-" if you are not
Coronavirus an "F"
Deficit an "F"

I disagree with much of the above.

Talking points ? ; Certainly the Covid pandemic does not play to Trump's favor cause he is the president now.Rightly or wrongly he is going to get some blame cause it's his watch. As to the civil unrest that too is not a plus for Trump. There are other talking points for Dems to raise ; double digit unemployment, the economy which only scans well as to the stock market.

But the main point is this on that front ; You should only be concerned with Trump talking points cause whatever points Dems have or don't have ; they are leading so it doesn't matter.Even with weak points they are leading. With Joe Biden in a basement.

With a Biden victory there will be a "decompression" for the whole country.Unrest will subside.

The polls are being taken now as to registered likely to vote people Democrats and Republicans. They then ask further what is driving their vote and many in the Biden column admit they are not so much voting for Biden as that they are voting Against Trump. And again it doesn't matter why, what matters is that they are.And again this is not 2016 and Hillary.

You guys may be worn out by the LSM and DPST attacks on Trump. But the Majority of those polled favor Biden. And they are voting Against Trump. Many are worn out by his chaotic style of failed governance.

There will be no 25th amendment stuff or Marxist horde shit.It will revert back to a calm regular old Government/Political bullshit.Which is good.

Biden comes from the Senate. The Presidents that come from the legislative branches respect the legislative branches. He won't try to pass a bunch of extreme shit and because of his respect for the legislative ; he won't do a bunch of executive order shit either.

Representative democracy is what the people vote on.Trump got voted in for 2016.The world has not come to an end.

Biden will win in 2020 and the world will not end then either.
