I don't think my reply is that out there. The problems in the Middle East have a lot of factors feed into the problem other than just the religion by itself. Going into them all would make this post way too long. You state that people should "stand up now". What does that even mean? Have debates? Making generalized statements about entire religion based on the actions of a few? Start bombing countries indiscriminately? Rounding Muslims up into concentrations camps? Your view of the world is overly simplistic. You don't see as many Muslims from Qatar becoming terrorists like there are from Yemen or Pakistan. There are reasons for that.
I grew up in the South and heard that the Bible was the "infallible word of God" in various churches. Many Christians take the Old Testament as seriously and Muslims take the Quran. Christian Extermists just have different priorities, like shooting abortion doctors. Like I said before, the problem is people who take their fairy tales too seriously and the choices they make.

You don't get it and I won't waste my life force trying to explain. I mentioned the source of the problem, the book that preaches all this hate yet you come with Bible Belt, who gives a hoot where you grew up and how your people misread the bible. let me make this simple, Did Jesus preach hate, did he say kill non belivers? it's either a yes or no questions.
After you answer this, let's go to Hindu religion, does it say kill non belivers? Yes or no?
This has nothing to do with interpretations when a book literally removes that option for its readers. You sit here making statements and you haven't read the book. Go read it and stop telling me you have Muslim friends. I have read part of the book and I soo laugh when people start saying its a peace loving religion. It isn't and the sooner people realize this and stop making excuses the better. And when I say stand up, it means stop condoning the killing, stop turning a blind eye, arrest those that do such acts, stop the funding, stop the assistance etc, it means a lot of things and yes, if you cant live in peace then go meet your 72 virgins that have probably been fucked silly by 1million other guys.

Like I said earlier, overly simplistic. You never did answer "stand up now", because you're just repeating mindless rhetoric with no connection to reality. Only tribalism.

Dude the more you talk, you sound rather uninformed and uneducated. Please go re read my last comment where I explained in DETAIL what I meant by "stand up now"
You copied my comments and I had high hopes that you read and processed the information and could answer back. I was sadly disappointed and I am starting to think you are just talking and not listening or reading or capable of answering the question. Everything has been explained so since you also haven't asnwered any of my questions posed to you, This conversation is over.
Be better informed before you spill nonsense out of your mouth.

my best friend is a muslim. and he loves pink floyd, pork chops, and weed. him and his family managed to escape iran when the shah was in power.
my nextdoor neighbors are are hindu. other side are muslim. my ex so is a buddhist. i am an atheist. we all get together for dinner sometimes. share food and wine. good times.
and remember...timothy mcveigh was a christian. and muslims hate us because we keep invading their countries and killing innocent people for their oil.

Pyramider I am going t play devil's advocate- you ever heard of the Crusades? Christians were slaughtering muslims by the millions- there's some historical reference that Christians killed so many muslims in a town that blood was ankle high.

Now I do agree with McBeth that even though Christians killed a lot during the Crusades- you can't reference one biblical verse where Jesus told his followers to kill innocent people or kill people in general. Yet, the Koran is filled with verses that promote violence and intolerance.
Here's a popular verse from the book of Luke:
] As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem. [52] And he sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for him; [53] but the people there did not welcome him, because he was heading for Jerusalem. [54] When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?" [55] But Jesus turned and rebuked them, [56] and they went to another village.
So in the above text- the people and that village didn't accept Jesus teachings- the disciples wanted to commit violence by sending fire down from the heavens to kill the non- believers and Jesus responded by rebuking the disciples for having the idea of committing violence.
Islam on the other hand promotes violence against non-believers.

We are just like the British, we get our oil from the Middle East so we bend our asses around and take it in the ass

“People” have condemned acts of violence. Imams, officials in Muslim countries, politicians and citizens in the Middle East and here have done so repeatedly. If you haven’t seen any of that, then you haven’t looked hard enough. No one is turning a blind eye. What goes in the Middle East is reported on daily. It just depends on where you choose to look.
Do you tell your “Muslim friends” that, “ People should stop pussy footing around violence from the Muslim religion”? Personally I believe you made up the bit about your Muslim friends. That’s an incredibly ignorant statement. I’ve met many Muslims, none have tried to kill me or been violent toward others for having different beliefs. Humans of any religion have a hard time living peacefully, even when they share the same God. Telling people they shouldn’t do something isn’t a particularly effective method to get them to stop if they’ve been radicalized.
Who is this “third World War” going to be with? That’s just nutty. No Muslim Nation has the resources, army or strategic coalition to wage a war on a global scale. They can’t even fight ISIS.

I like the Fruedian slip there.. or is it a slip? Christian Extermists, lol..
at the risk of going more off-topic in my own thread, I pose this question.. if you (anyone) really think abortion is the murder of a human being, why aren't you (anyone) shooting abortion doctors? would it not be like shooting the Sandy Hook gunman before he killed more children? wouldn't that be noble and worthwhile? just asking..
aside from the radical Islam discussion, there's another point to be stressed.. the fact that this Monster had been arrested 10 previous times, and should have been in Prison still.. why do we keep letting these people out? why does a civilized society want Nut Cases like this roaming among us?

Roger here's the problem with your reasoning and pay close attention:
There are anywhere between 1.7 and 1.9 BILLION muslims in the world- that's indisputable-
Let's say 5% of the 1.7(I am taking the smaller population figure) are radical(Most believe it's 10 percent) but 5% of 1.7 Billion radicals is roughly 75 million- if you take the closer figure of 10% who embrace radical jihadist belief that means nearly 300 million muslims are radical- 300 million is the entire population of the U.S- if we have 300 million people in this world who share beliefs of the Taliban/Al-Queada and ISIS that should scare the living shit out of you.

First, you don’t know what a Freudian Slip is. How can something be a Freudian Slip when I consciously typed it? Freudian Slips are inadvertent.
I don’t know where to being with your comment, because it’s nothing more than words put together on a screen forming an incoherent ramble.

No, I won’t say 5% are radical because you totally make that number up. You’re making up numbers based on nothing but your own conjecture. That’s pretty ignorant. It’s like when people say things like; most Latinos here are illegal, most African Americans are violent criminals, Asians have small dicks and are good at math, and all Jews are greedy. What you’ve typed is incredibly ignorant. I’ve been to the Middle East and Indonesia. One person out of twenty did not attack me or try to kill me.
People who become radicalized are more likely to come from an impoverished background, have little or no formal education, no job prospects, and no chance of ever finding a wife. The first three reasons are similar to why kids in America join gangs.
What you’ve typed, I mean wow. I just don’t even….

you are really slow at comprehension, as others have pointed out.. I know a Freudian slip is inadvertent... I was asking if you meant to type "extermist", or whether you meant extremist, and mis-typed..

Mr. Renaissance Man, I've traveled abroad many times, too, but I don't claim to understand Foreigners completely.. just because 5% did not attack or try to kill you during your stay, does not mean that many (5%) do not embrace the tenents of radical Islam.. you sound like Sean Penn, after he visited Cuba for 3 days, and told everyone Castro is misunderstood..

Since there is no such word as "extermist", obviously it was a mispelled word I didn't right click to correct. See what I mean about not being able to understand simple concepts? I don't care what the "others" say since you're referring to MacBeth and WellEndowed who have offer nothing but bigoted stereotypes of Muslims. I don't respect their opinions, so what they think means nothing to me.
You on the other hand go out of you way to be liked by strangers on a message board spending all day and night making lame jokes and inane comments, playing the clown hoping people will like you. That desperation is morbidly sad.

There you go again doubling up on your bigotry claiming that just because someone is Muslim, they must be a terrorist. Reality disagrees with that. I've traveled to Egypt, Bahrain, Nigeria, Kenya, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Indonesia. That takes a little more than 3 days. You sound like an ignorant bigot who thinks he knows what goes on in the world because you "saw it on the TV".
