Why do they call pimps their daddies? I was reading a blog last year from some escort in my area. She kept on mentioning "Daddy" and how she wanted to make Daddy tons of money when they went out ot Vegas. I was thinking: Daddy?? Is that what she calls her boyfriend? IDK. I had a weird boyfriend who wanted me to call him daddy, as he spanked me. So I just assumed it was a boyfriend. Excuse my nieveness, but I don't dabble with trouble.

These pimps have 2 ways of contacting an independent woman. They contact you and act like they are seeking an appointment. OR they get one of their ladies to contact a provider. One pimp kept bothering me and he would NOT STOP. He called me everyday all the time.

I'm not saying that I agree with it or anything, or that this is for everyone or any one. All I'm saying is that it worked for them.

The truly successful Independents on this site are sexy entrepreneurs. They possess not only the know-how, but also the self-discipline, to handle their finances, attire, grooming, hygiene and health care, supplies, personal security, appointments, etc.

And there are those who have the sex appeal but lack the business acumen -- and who may be notorious for NCNS, constantly in a state of financial crisis, or for some other reason(s) unable to "get their acts together"; and barely getting by. They are the ones who could benefit from a relationship like the one you just described.

SofaKing, if a lady isn't self sufficient and simply cannot do the legwork required to answer calls, screen, drive to appointments, etc, then I can understand her need for a "pimp." But I wonder why a woman wouldn't be able to do the work for herself, could it be she is under the influence of something and is not in the right frame of mind to do the work? I'll admit that it can be monotonous answering emails and doing screeing, but we do it ourselves because it is so worth it. We keep 100% of what we earn, no middlemen.

I think pimps are parasitic. I hate to admit this, but when I first started escorting I worked for a guy for 1 day. He saw my ad, and contacted me. The same way that the ladies here have discussed.

It is hard getting your feet wet and I thought I was better off and safer with his protection. Thats what he was able to convince me anyways. What a joke. He kept putting me down, calling me stupid whore. I realized what this scumhole was trying to do. He was trying to change my mindset and knock me down a few pegs to make me think I'm worthless, and not confident enough to work on my own. Pimps hate confident women. They want you weak and meak because they are able to control you more that way.

That didn't last and I got rid of him. Plus he overworked me and took 80% of my earned money. I earned 1k that night, and he gave me 200!!!!!!! He wasn't a real "pimp" just a punk parasite who wanted to leach on women. I learned quickly that this wasn't for me. I told him to get lost and he did. A real pimp would have beat me up, I guess. IDK. Best to do your own work and stay away. With the resources we have now, eccie, references, P411, etc. there is no need for pimps, so lay them off! Make them obsolete like VHS tapes. This isn't the 70's or 80's anymore. USE TECHNOLOGY.

I can just see it now in my mind. Some lazy guy living in his mothers basement and he decides he wants to be a pimp to make money because it's better than working at McDonalds. So he goes on Eccie or the other sites and contacts women because he has a penthouse for you and a glamourous life.

No, they are quite different. Put aside the name for a minute because some agency owners really are pimps by a different name while others are not the same at all.

Think of it as the difference between a restaurant owner who has real employees vs a restaurant owner who has 20 enslaved illegal immigrants chained in the basement, as does happen.

"Good" agency owner:
--Handles appointments, advertizing,screening, taking care of incall location, and other administrative aspects of the business
--Hires employees based upon a common agreement on the salary split; when a worker decides to leave, she or he is free to leave
--Working conditions vary, but are generally within the same bounds as the majority of other businesses; workers often have a significant say in when they work

Pimp:
--Handles appointments, advertizing,screening, taking care of incall location, and other administrative aspects of the business
--Hires employees based upon coersion and falsehood, often including drugs and violence; employes leave only if/when the pimp decides
--There is a simple split of the income: Pimp all, workers none
--Pimp decides working conditions and frequency

The Bear has mixed feelins, the provider that uses the stereotypic pimp has nothing to offer The Bear. If they dont have it together to TCB, then they most probably wont have much to offer.

I agree with you ladies and gentleman. Pimps are leaches who prey on weak women. They look for an angle and then they try to exploit it. Times have changed, were in the information age. Women don't need pimps anymore but sadly to say there are still women out there for some reason, get trapped in supporting a deadbeat!
Personally the only way I could see a working woman these days getting with a pimp is if she has a very low self-esteem, uneducated in the nature of the business, easily manipulated, and is submissive.

On the contrary, I have thought about the possibilities of forming a relationship with an escort. Thats a decision I could live with and be happy with. However in a situation like that if both partners truly cared for each other they could share their income and apply it towards something they both want such as a house, or a car.
