So it's only half his fault but does that mean the other half wants to loot and riot in response?

All of this is bullshit! If your ancestors came to this country say a hundred years ago or they were freed as slaves 150 years ago and generation after generation is still financially struggling you just have poor genetics being a loser is in your blood.

And honestly? Things are changing, and will continue to change. You can deny it, you can be angry about it, you can lock yourself in your gated communities, but eventually this stuff will affect you and it's gonna show up on your doorstep.
Have you ever read any accounts of people going through revolutions in other times and places? It's not pretty. And those who can/will suffer the most are women and children. I don't look forward to starving, having people shoot each other over food, watching friends disappear for saying the wrong thing, and seeing people REALLY live on a survival level. It's not good for anyone.
And the more people try to deny it instead of listening and trying to find a solution with other people (namely, the people who are rioting in the fucking streets), the worse it's going to be. Think about a pendulum that swings back and forth until it can slow down and find equilibrium. What happens when the pendulum is swung way to one side, and instead of being allowed to swing back freely, the side holds it tighter and tighter, until it finally bursts free, and beings to swing violently back and forth. That is exactly what's happening in this country right now.
And the really sad part about it? Most of the people who argue for the status quo are suffering too. Their jobs are disappearing, their pensions are vanishing, they are tired of striving to keep up, they are stressed out and feel physically like shit and are scared and don't really know how things are going to turn out. And it ain't the fault of the black people who are rioting in Baltimore at the moment; they are angry and stressed out by the same fucking people who are causing ALL of us to suffer; the 1%. Incidentally, they think this is hilarious. Discussions of race keep the spotlight on the "other" and ignores them. I think that there's a different way to live, but it's going to take a lot of work to get there. And no, I don't know what exactly that different way to live looks like - none of us do, and that's part of what's so frightening.
I don't know what the solution is, or what we need to do to heal and move on. I suspect it will get much worse before it gets better. But the fact of the matter is, you can embrace change, or you can have it forced on you. Personally, I prefer the former."

I do NOT support the Balt rioting or other similar actions. They are inherently wrong and solve nothing.
The "white privilege" people are WRONG, because it is more complicated than that, and it isn't just the "privileged" who need to be open to dialogue and change, but the "underprivileged" as well. Neither side is all wrong or all right.
The "fix it now" black leaders are WRONG because 150 years of systemic problems cannot be fixed quickly--education takes at least two generations to fix, and we as a society don't have the staying power any more.
But your "you just have poor genetics being a loser is in your blood" is pure racist. You would have fit in very well with the Nazi superior race believers. As soon as you say blacks or any group are inherently inferior, then you absolve yourself of any need to care, any need to fix what is wrong. There ARE things wrong, though not as many or as simple as many black leaders want to acknowledge.

FWIW, I saw some stats on one of the news shows, about Balitmore, I believe, Among the black population there the unemployment rate was something like 25%, and maybe higher and the high school graduation rate among blacks was 25%. To me, that speaks volumes about the lack of employment opportunity. Companies are not going to establish themselves and offer decent jobs if the employment base is not there. Not a question of race, but of preparedness to meet the demands of the modern workforce.
Also, minimum wage jobs were never meant as jobs one could support a family on. Getting off topic I realize but even if the minimum wage was 40 per, everything else would adjust. Can you see yourself paying 20 dollars for a Whataburger?

Dang ECCIE email system must have truncated your question. Here is the full question: How many of the non 1%ers are flat being run out of town by high cost of living because they keep voting for more government spending for more free-schtuff?
Ye olde problem with Socialism. Eventually you run out of other peoples money.

Baltimore, Chicago, St Louis, Detroit and on and on are all long term Democratic stenches, er uhmm, I mean cities. They want their people (huddled masses) dumb and dependent upon them. The err uhmm, populace learned (were taught) that they could vote for free stuff. It has worked for decades, but they forgot to keep the axles greased (invest in infrastructure and business etc) and the wheels are starting to fall off. EX: St Louis, the part that encompasses Furguson, has had the same family in Congress for over 30 years. That's right. Dad did it and retired and the son took over.
Kudo to Sue for starting up a couple great topics recently

This town is way out of balance and we need less 58 stories condos full of high end housing down town and more housing for the poor and middle class in the central city.

Why do we need it? I hate living in Round Rock. Hate it. Would love to be able to live downtown. But I can't afford it. But who should I blame? If I own property in downtown Austin that I want to sell, fuck anyone who wants to tell me I can't. Supply and demand is a hell of a thing. I should be able to get a massage and a hand job for 25 bucks. I am sure I'm as certain in this conviction as anyone who thinks housing should be cheap just because they want it to be cheap. Does that mean it's going to happen any time soon? Why should supply and demand be any different for property than it is for hobbying?

I have some dumb ass family members who are lazy and uneducated and barely making ends meet.... But that is their fault. Then they turn around and expect me to give them money, only because I have money and they don't. I remind them of me traveling and working 7 days a week 12 hours a day. Then I invested my money wisely.
My EXWIEF Family came here after Pol Pot took over Cambodia and The first generation was working, owning their own homes and starting business's. The second generation are getting college degrees and growing business's. It is embarrassing that people can come here and in just one or two generations are living the American Dream. I am tried of hearing excuses especially from my own family. I keep telling them lazy dumb-asses to quit have children if they cant do better than this. Of course I am not the favorite but I don't spend much time with them anyway.

- Jobs are disappearing (for white people as well as black)
- Wealth inequality is on the rise
- The status quo won't hold for long
Are you sure? Have you carefully checked your facts? Or are you accepting selective crafted statistics from politicians, politically oriented organizations and the media.
Here's my point. Most of the information sources at our disposal (100% of politicians, politically oriented organizations and the media - no exceptions) have one thing in common, regardless of flavor. They NEED us to believe that SOMETHING IS WRONG AND IT IS GETTING WORSE AND THIS IS A CRISIS.
The same is also true for every for profit business. It is in fact the core of the entire art and science of Sales and Marketing (referred to as creating urgency).
Don't be a sucker. Ignore anecdotes (even a collection of them) presented as evidence of anything. Understand any statistic you allow to form your opinions in detail.
