we never had this problem in the before 1965 era. these type of mass shootings didn't occur.
I think the society has become more "coarser"..

Oh my, so now everyone who believes in the Second Amendment is a child killer?
It's so peachy and wonderful to have you participating in this forum, standinstupid. You have such a unique way of encouraging calm and reason in all of our discussions. You are truly a breath of fresh air in our polarized national discourse.

Hmmm... maybe one day when your child is murdered by an MS-13 gang member who is in our country illegally you will change your irresponsible attitude on immigration.
See how that works?

Donald J Trump just delivered his address on the Nicklaus Cruz killing 17 people in Florida.
He was concise and on point. He is the Greatest President of our time!!!

We allow folks to make threats, laugh and ignore, then question how this happened after the fact. Sure we need to better have gun control and restrict product types but this is not a Reblican Democratic Conservative issue, it's an AMERICAN issue. No shooter asked what's your political status before firing!
3 of 10 deadliest shootings in last 5 months.

That's the thing, if you actually read what people were posting on this guy's Instagram page, you can see people were trying to warn those in charge. Read the comments beside the picture of this guy's arsenal. Six months ago, posters were tagging media outlets (CNN, NBC, KTLA5 & TMZ) and the school system (Broward County School System) to get their attention: to warn them of an impending disaster. Evidently, no one did anything.

If the School District acknowledges "a problem," they are then responsible for addressing and resolving "the problem." That's the bottom line. Liberals run school districts and hire liberals to teach there. If they come there as conservatives they get "molded" into the Liberal mind-set in order to generate "tenure"!
This horrific event is not about a "sick kid" ... it's about an ineffective and culturally "correct" system that abhors firearms and people who rely upon them to assure the safety of the community. The school district failed the students.
Think Columbine! Do they need an alert in 2017 to 2018? This is Columine:

All of you that are against gun control should attend the funerals in Florida because you are partly responsible for the massacre.

As usual you aren't using your head. You want to ban all guns but we'll still have the assholes that find other ways to inflict mayhem on society. The true gun owners of this country who understand and practice gun safety and have taken it upon themselves to be train in firearm tactics aren't the problem and neither are the firearms they own and train with. If you were a mature adult with a reasonable amount of education you would be aware this.

saw the title of the thread and the poster, have not read ANYTHING above my post! The fact is the signs were there, and no one did anything! Just another shithead post by standing shit trying to politicize a tragedy. The guns are not the problem! The parents and community was the problem. Stop glorifying these shooters with 24/7 news coverage after these incidents.

Can you only imagine if the assistant coach/security guard had been allowed to carry a gun he could have stopped the violence instead of his only option to put himself between bullets and the students he saved. He was willing to die for them. I would imagine he would have been willing to pull a trigger to save them as well.

Explain how a ban really prevents him from killing.
You are assuming a ban would prevent him from obtaining the weapon in the first place, right?
It may have made it more difficult. He was going to kill though. There is no doubt there. He may have had to wait a week or a month, but he had made up his mind. Nothing was stopping him.
Do you think that had would have just said, "gee this is going to be harder than I thought, I guess I'll just take a nap instead."?
He was looking up info on how to make bombs, for Christ's sake!

That's a key note 24/7 News coverage. We'll be hearing about this for the next week or two. I have to wonder why.

********** HOLD ON EVERYBODY, I'LL PLAY**************
OK standing shithead, let's look at this from another perspective.
Liberals will want to again try to ban assault weapons and/or magazines with more than 8 rounds. They're under some sort of false illusion this will end off of these mass killings. It won't. After the Las Vegas mass killings a state or two has banned bump stocks, but again, these are false illusions. Of course all of us who own assault weapons are a bunch of uneducated hillbilly cracker rednecks.
By the way, anybody low on ammo or wanting a gun better stock up quickly, there may be a run on ammo. I learned this after the Connecticut shootings as ammo was very hard to find.
Now if you really cared, which I don't think you do, you just want attention by posting against the grain to get attention, let's get rid of the real killers, who stat's make killing by assault weapons look very weak.
From this website....... https://www.edgarsnyder.com/car-acci...tatistics.html
- The National Safety Council reports that cell phone use while driving leads to 1.6 million crashes each year.
- Nearly 330,000 injuries occur each year from accidents caused by texting while driving.
- 1 out of every 4 car accidents in the United States is caused by texting and driving.
- Texting while driving is 6x more likely to cause an accident than driving drunk.
- Answering a text takes away your attention for about five seconds. Traveling at 55 mph, that's enough time to travel the length of a football field.
- Texting while driving causes a 400% increase in time spent with eyes off the road.
- Of all cell phone related tasks, texting is by far the most dangerous activity.
- 94% of drivers support a ban on texting while driving.
- 74% of drivers support a ban on hand-held cell phone use.
- 11 teens die every day as a result of texting while driving.
- According to a AAA poll, 94% of teen drivers acknowledge the dangers of texting and driving, but 35% admitted to doing it anyway.
- 21% of teen drivers involved in fatal accidents were distracted by their cell phones.
- Teen drivers are 4x more likely than adults to get into car crashes or near-crashes when talking or texting on a cell phone.
- A teen driver with only one additional passenger doubles the risk of getting into a fatal car accident. With two or more passengers, they are 5x as likely.
- In 2013, 3,154 people were killed in distraction-related crashes.
- About 424,000 people were injured in crashes involving a distracted driver.
- In 2013, 10% of all drivers ages 15 to 19 involved in fatal accidents were reported to be distracted at the time of the crash.
So instead of outlawing Remington, Winchester, Ruger, Mossberg, Glock, Smith and Wesson, how about outlawing Samsung, Apple and other cell phone makers, then we can move to outlaw Cricket, AT and T, Sprint, T Mobile. Due to the complete thoughtless use of these communication devices, that are meant to communicate in a safe manner, we should be looking at these as mass murder devices.
Using this analogy, say my nephew is driving safely and keeping his mind on the road and goes through an intersection and is broadsided by a driver texting while driving. After the funeral, can we sue the driver of the other car, but can we sue Apple who made his cell phone, can we sue Sprint who supplies his connection? No we can't. The only thing we could do is bankrupt the ruthless fucker who just had to answer or read the text from his wife telling him to pick up a box of tampons for her while he is out.
There is no way in hell I'm trying to minimize these horrible shootings, but just try to enlighten you that there are things in this world that kill far more people than guns.
Hey gnadfly, when are we going to meet at the local gun range? We can use standing shithead as a 20 round magazine after we shove twenty .223 rounds up his ass.

The killer at 18 couldn’t buy a beer but could buy a Assult rifle.
Countries that have strict gun laws do not have these tragedies.
Those of you that are making light of this tragedy are sick human beings.
If it was your child killed you would not be so supportive of the NRA but you are so self centered that other people’s kids mean nothing to you, typical uneducated deplorable mindset.

Nobody is making light of anything. You're trying to find blame on those that aren't responsible. In the eight years of Obama there were over a Hundred and sixty two mass shootings. He didn't do anything about it. Where were you then?

People like SS who spew their own brand of verbal vomit and hate on a daily basis contribute more to this kind of insanity than anything else.
You’re a punk.
