Default fox, talk radio and the internet...the salvation of america?

i'd say fox doesnt always get things right, they have fallible people and ive listened to some reporters getting things initially wrong. and o'reilly?, never a bigger blowhard except for al gore....but

in their news reporting they keep it straight, just not with a selective liberal slant, and they ask questions the democrat news agents would never ask, in their opinion side they have opposing views given...

the problem liberals have is they no longer have a lock on their one-sided "news"...the cat has been belled by the mice...

oh they sit amongst themselves and titter and knowingly smile to each other and roll their eyes at the rubes on fox or the questions their reporters might ask at news conferences ....and they run "surveys"...or have like-minded social "scientists" attempt to denigrate fox's audience ....but the people in fly over country get it...and thats what liberals cant stand and its made them all the more vicious ...

liberals about fox and about many things remind me of that verse in the bible...that goes ..."satan is like a roaring lion, raging and seeking whom he may devour, for he knows his time is short"

This is a discussion? The only one that put forth good argument is IB. (I continue to admire you. Your humor is not lost on me.)

I watch every news outlet. Every single one. You know how I found Glenn Beck (yes give me your hate speech on him... I LOVE it) MSNBC. They were dogging this guy Beck 3 years ago. I mean DOGGING him. I specifically remember the broadcast because it was soooooo filled with hate (and fear behind the hate) I HAD to know who the fuck this guy Beck was to command such hate and bitterness with these people.

It took ONE show from Beck and I was hooked. I looked up all his research and I'll be a son of a gun he was RIGHT. Randy likes to flirt with me by dogging my admiration of Beck and I secretly kind of like it. Anyone that doesn't listen to Beck has no idea why, but it's very very very funny when they do.

Anyway, the whole point of this post was to say that all the news sources are good for SOMETHING.

Is there ever going to be a topic we can agree on? It seems that what a provider said about this forum is true... you are either far right or far left. Why is there no medium? Why can't FOX be right sometimes? Just like MSNBC OR CNN can certainly be right sometimes. We let the dog and pony dictate to us what we believe and listen to. Do you guys ever do your own research? I've learned some stuff from the left posters here that have been absolutely true. The problem with it was it was wrapped around something else that was absolutely NOT true. (No I don't have time to give examples.)

I'm just saying, isn't it smarter to listen to everyone with an open yet guarded mind?

Waverunner, I am with you on that. When the economy finally does turn around, (and it will), all of these "investors" who are paying over $1200 an ounce for gold are going to shit when it plummets to about $500 overnight.

You can't eat it. All you can do is buy, and sell it. And all of these morons are too stupid to realize that all of the people who are inticing those to buy it are not in the game to loose money.

Remember back in the '70's when it was Diamonds. I kinda got caught up in that. I still have a 2.1 carat D-Flawless, (GIA), that is still worth $15,000 less than what I bought it for in 1977. I think I keep it to remind me how stupid I was.

there is a huge difference between gold and diamonds. gold has a scarcity, while the diamond supply is artificially controlled

while gold has some utility, i am with you conerning its ultimate value, but thats after a nuclear devastation when water and guns will be primo.
a run of the mill inflationary spiral coupled with a world wide depression? (now that may not be possible but what was stagflation?) .... gold's value will probably hold

Before I answer please tell me how buying gold is a scam? I made 160% on silver following his advise.

I know what you're referring to. Wiener was the one that led the charge. Please tell me how buying gold is a scam.

And this is a perfect example if what I was saying about being programmed. Wouldn't it upset you just a little to find out you were being scammed or lied to by a source you trusted?

PS this is the purpose of the experiment. I'm willing to bet none of you guys on the left have ever heard anything from the commentators on the right that wasn't spoon fed to you. Only the stuff your guys edited or fibbed about completely. If you are brave enough to listen to an entire show and make notes of your own, you will be amazed at what is being kept from you.
Forget the media blitz that distracts you from truth. Listen for yourself, love or hate him for your own reasons, not why you were told to hate him. If you know your side is 100% truthful then you have nothing to worry about. You have a chance to show me why I'm nuts..... And I do have an open mind. I'll listen to you.

nervergave, you make a good point about the diamond market, as I stated, I was stupid.

But what I really believe is this. If things get so bad that the only viable currency is a shiney metal, then what you had better be invested in is a good 12 guage shotgun, lots of shells, and pork and beans. Because if things get that bad, the rioters will come and kill you for a can of beans, and leave the gold.

Kayla, the only reason Gold is in such an inflationary spiral upward is because of the uncertain economic news that is broadcast every day. It is artificial, because the economy will improve. When it does, people's fears will subside, and gold will fall like a rock.

You do know that this is not the first time this has happenned?

The people stockpiling food and gold will be the most popular people in their neighborhood once the collapse hits. I'm investing in memories with pretty ladies, so I can inwardly smile while I starve to death in the re-education camps.

It's easy to identify and dismiss, when necessary, the hyperbole of the right; it is impossible to identify the suppression and omission visited by the left -- without a contrasting voice.

Ok, someone tell me if this is a real screen shot, or something doctored. I can't believe even FOX would be this stupid.

Sorry. Watched BBCA, not American, for that story.
