Sorry to hear this happened to you. Smart actions and impressive quick thinking! It can happen to anyone, no matter how experienced or careful one is.

My advice to best avoid this situation:

1) NEVER use STG other than for Asian Agency girls.

2) Save up your money and pay more for an Eros/Tryst/Slixa traveler with reviews or an agency girl.

I no longer use STG. I don't even look at it. Best way to monger is to slowly build up a rotation of regulars. You can never have enough. You can have your regular providers introduce you to friends of theirs who also play/they travel with.

This hobby we enjoy can be very dangerous. I've experienced more than most over the years - you monger as often as I do, it's going to happen:

1) LEO detainment multiple times
2) Robbed multiple times
3) Jumped/Assaulted
4) Car Stolen
5) Attempted Extortion
6) Libel by hooker meant to dox me
7) Jilted Seeking girl calling my family telling them I see hookers
8) Threats to call police and say I "r-word" her unless I give h-addict Seeking girl money while she's honking her car in front of my home.
9) Angry parents of seeking girl calling me with direct threats
10) EVERY "Prohibited" subject matter

This hobby can be a lot of fun, but can go very wrong, get very real, and get very uncomfortable. It can surely fuck your life up. If you have anything to lose that you care about, I wouldn't recommend this hobby. Join a pickleball league, start geocaching, or become a Winter Forty-Sixer.

Great advice on STG. Do you have any words of wisdom for deciding on one of the 200 ads for Asian Roulette? They all seem to be staying at one motel on Central, so for all I know there is some dude in a room with 37 cell phones with 37 different area codes. All the girls seem to be rejects from the good places downstate or in other big cities. There has to be at least one younger than 40 in that mix.

For whatever it’s worth I went by central yesterday afternoon and walked before going in. 2 old grandmothers with not so nice bodies or faces. Some of the newer number adds are for the towers but when I went to go see what they had well about 9 or 10 police cars in the lot so obviously I kept it moving.

The Asian agencies aren't local. It's a few agencies that post dozens of ads. Only a few mediocre girls are actually ever in town. It's a last resort when all else fails.
