Two Years of virtually nothing. That's because it's all fake. As human beings when it comes to Government we must always factor in the tendency to be fooled.

Agree a crime scene photo of a lime green pimp ride would make Amish unlikely

Thr Rev. King would have mourned the passing of a man just as Jon Dunn had several centuries earlier (" . . .no man is an island . . ." but MLK would never have celebrated the life of George Floyd, as was done in 2020. He would have condemned the circumstances surrounding that death, and advocated for posative change, but never idolized that man himself. . . .not based on the contents of Floyd''s character.

Sounds like something Malcolm X would have wrote to him.

i should have standing to opine
as a direct descendant of the first slave brought to this land
will anyone listen to me?
i am a direct descendant of the indentured servant john howland who landed at plymouth rock (actually landed at what is now provincetown, mass) on the mayflower in 1620
i should be entitled to reparations or at least lifetime free *ussy of my choosing and reimbursement for the true cost of all prior *ussy

is this the artist way of dissing MLK? possibily.
the sculpture when seen from different angles appear to look like:
hands holding a penis
hands doing a handjob
hands holding poop
we all know that MLK is a toxic masculine beater and cheater, but they won't say that part aloud.

FBI's Vicious Letter To King Holds Lessons On Surveillance, Hindsight
For decades, a graphic letter sent from J. Edgar Hoover's FBI to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was thought to only exist in a censored form. The letter focused on King's sex life and his extramarital affairs. Yale historian Beverly Gage, who's working on a biography of Hoover, recently uncovered an unredacted version of the letter at the National Archives...

This thread is ridiculous. How anyone can even remotely equate the disgusting treatment of people of color during the civil rights movement to this topic is arguably the dumbest shit I have ever read on this board.
Look, I know many people are complete goofballs in this forum, but please explain to me the complete lack of civil liberties that MLK was striving for compared to the caddy nonsensical bullshit of today.
MLK was not about politics. He was about the fact that black people were not even treated like humans, and they should be treated equal. You can't hide your skin color. You can hide your political beliefs. That's the differentiation. Nobody can judge you by your thoughts if you don't share them. With your ethnicity though, you can't hide that.
My point is one you can control and hide and one you can't. It's that fucking simple. I know MLK day is over, but let's not use him as a talking point about what is happening today because you don't like it today if it is not your way. He deserves better than that. Hey, I don't like the "woke" culture either, but MLK and what he stood for does not have jack shit to do with it. He made an incredible social impact that these woke clowns will never make.

Obviously, you don't read your own posts. Start there and this thread will fall right off your radar.

Lucas: I appreciate and admire your passion on tis. But I am not sure I fully understand your last post. . . .and I want to.
What I think I get from it is that MLK was all about civil rights for all and committed to achieving that goal through Ghamdi-like non-violence.
And his motives and actions were/are so transformational in a positive way that he should not be mentioned, even as a comparison or reverse example, in the same thread as Antife and BLM.
If I am miss-stating our take on tis I apologize and invite you to clarify.
This post is not intended to be mockery, satire or sarcasm.

ICU, I appreciate your post. I will add clarity later. Unfortunately, I still work for the man, and this is going to be quite the busy day. I hope to see some further thoughts before I get back to this later tonight. You guys enjoy your day. I probably won't because I am a bit late on some deliverables.

LM: Been there, done that. Retired now. Haven't been able to work since 2003. . . .so I can spend my day freely sharing the rapidly diminishing value of my two cent's worth.
