Lube is great though for some reason I have found that most providers unless they do Greek, do not even have any. Lube comes in 3 types;
1. WATER BASED: this is by far the most popular and typically the kind a provider will have the plus side is these types of gels are easily absorbed by the body and they are slick and smoth when applied and easily wash off with warm water or just a little soap. The drawbacks to these are that they do not last very long and require continual reapplication and avoid any that contain GLYCERIN as this can cause infections in women so your lady if using this kind should clean up immediately afterwards. SILICONE BASED: This type of lube lasts for a very long which usually means no reapplying so no awkward breaks in the action. I don't mind either, but when it is needed I prefer silicon based lube over spit. It just seems weird that spitting on someones face or shoes is an insult, but spitting on their cock is a good thing. But if it applied by a pretty pink tongue I have no objections.

Wet Platinum Premium and Eros Body Glide are both great silicone lubes. Silicone lube NEVER gets tacky, and it has a bunch of non-sex uses too. I buy it by the gallon (way, way cheaper) once a year on cheaplubes.com
