You (South Texas) do not have a right to a SNATCH thread. You have one modtard MIA. You have one modtard who showed no interest in moderating the SNATCH thread. You have one rookie modtard who does not yet know how to moderate a SNATCH thread. That puts it all on biomed1's shoulders. It is up to him whether to take on that task. You do have the benefit of being a small market. Two modtards willing to do the work should be able to handle it. The key is cooperation from your whores. It is not supposed to be a place where whores rack up points that get them banned for 90days. It is also not an additional location for a whore to place an AD.

If you would like to see the violations, I have gone into the SNATCH thread and posted "violation" in each post that does not conform. There look to be about 30 correct posts and 24 violations.

DH, thanks for going through that. It does shine a light as to why it was closed. It was better than just pointing the offenders and having them losing access for 90 days.
As for the rules, those should have been posted by a mod after it was opened by the OP. It wasn't until much later that one of the more astute providers pointed it out.
Since a primary source of income would be at stake for getting banned, I'm pretty sure the providers/managers would pay more attention to what's required to post in SNATCH. When you're talking losing $$ people tend to pay attention. And if not, fuck 'em.
Plus adding value to a thread elsewhere on the board and having a well crafted sig line should give providers plenty of exposure anyways. Although it does make one wonder at times why some have so much time on their hands to post, but that's a topic for another thread.

I've been gone for awhile. Mostly because last time I got on it was nothing but bitching and whining, quite annoying. I think people don't use the forum anymore not because they are hobbying any less but because if you have the phone numbers of the "right people" with the girls then there is no need for this forum anymore. If you have already been verified with them or a regular then coming on here to write a review to get premium access is pointless, you gain nothing from it.

I do not know how we bring it back or if we ever will. All i know is that maybe it was violations what we were doing but it sure was alot better in knowing who we were seeing and it seemed like we had more choices. Now we have to book with an agency. So what are we to do? It is a hobby and i know some of us dont like drama. Maybe the parties would be good to start. Maybe little by little we can get it back...

I'm basically an outsider to the South Texas board, so take these remarks with a grain of salt.
1) Board participation always seems to slow down during the holidays. Folks are spending time and $s on other activities.
2) The RGV seems to be a VERY small market, despite the broad geographic area. I counted 3 agencies and 4 independents marketing this past week. If I check on Preferred411, I see only 2 indies and 1 agency, and that agency seems to be based out-of-town. I see perhaps a dozen mongers(?) posting in the past week.
3) The RGV & CC, despite being miles apart, are lumped into one forum. They have different issues & politics. We have a similar situation in CO, trying to cover from Pueblo to Ft. Collins (about 200mi on the I-25 corridor, not to mention the Western Slope area.
4) Reading past posts (trying to catch the local flavor) there did seem to be some ugly drama. Even with the changes, I'm not certain that's finished yet. Some of the players appear to still have a burr under their saddles.

Just a few thoughts. Willing to be corrected if I've misinterpreted something.
