I think I grossly underestimated the Mavs. Actually, I think I grossly overestimated the Lakers. The Lakers look old and tired. I was waiting for them to flip the switch the entire game and turn things around, but I think they forgot to pay their electric bill.
This series is done. The Lakers can't even score anymore. And Gasol's play has been average at best the entire playoffs. I never thought the Lakers with a somewhat healthy Bynum would ever go out like this. But it's hard to play in the NBA with tired legs, and the Lakers have played more games than any team over the last 3 years. And it's not like they are a young team with all of their starters, (other than bad knees Bynum,) over 30. The Celtics are currently experiencing a similar AARP problem.

TexRich, I hope you consoled him with a great big bear hug and uttered the words "there, there....there, there" as you patted him on the back while your shoulder was getting soaked by the tears and snot that accumulated from his anguish
I wish I could have been there but.....you know....
Prediction: Who knows

Yes, unless it is the Spurs, I will graciously acknowledge a superior foe. And while the fan side of me still hold hope that the Lakers pull their collective heads out of their asses the logical side of me says this series is over.
Oh and Cando, Rich just laughed at me. All is well, Mavs fans deserve to be very happy after those two wins.

I see Mav's vs the OKC Thunder, after 34 years in Dallas, I will have a problem on who to pull for

At this point, I don't know which amazes me more--that they finally found and killed Bin Laden or that the Mavs are up 2-0 against the Lakers.
IF (and thats still a sizable IF) the Mavs get by the Lakers, it doesn't get easier. The OKC Thunder are young and fast (but still playoff inexperienced), and then there's the Miami Heat, which would make for a helluva Finals matchup. If Mavs do beat Lakers, I just hope they don't get so elated that they get their butts kicked in the next round.
In any case....Go Mavs!!

i dont want to see another repeat of "hey we are up 2-0 we got this" mentality... As history has shown, one player can change the whole thing..(wade). the fans will need to be a factor in the next two games and they need to come out like they never have before... Go Mavs,

MAVS! All the way! I hope Kobe gets his ass to game 5 in street clothes. Keep posting him up Kidd! Dirk showed him he ain't no punk!
How about Jason Kidd! My future ex-husband lmao!
I am a die hard MAVS fan! Born in Dallas and damn proud of it!
Have a page on friends4mavs.com too, it is a cool site.
LA FAKERS are Hollywoods team. We whooped thier ass in Game one when we could not even get a call. That old ass referee who is retiring really made lots of bad calls in round 1 with other games. Sucks when that happens.
But, you can't Be a Winner without having a heart and true love of the game. JJ, Terry, Chandler, Peja, Stevenson, and even Heywood rock it hard.
TNT, Bolt and ya'll Hey!
Gonna go sun my buns in my backyard in new Brazillian Bikini. Then get ready for the Game!
