Have to agree the ladies safety and comfort are important. It's relatively easy for gents to get info on a lady, unless of course you are going the Backpage route. One trend I do like is the "pics are me or it's free" comment on some ads. That keeps it legit.

Hiding/blurring/leaving out one's face is a pretty standard industry practice employed by reputable providers the world over. You've been here for well over a year. Why are you playing brand new?

What is it that is so confusing about the fact that Seeking ~P, or any other provider who does not show their face has the right to mitigate risk however they choose to because it is them that may possibly be on the line in a worst case scenario and NOT you? Within the confines of consent and common decency, you do whatever you want with your own body, or specifically face.

If you refuse to book a date with an escort who hides her face and opts not to send you your very own personalized selfie, all power to you. You should spend or not spend your money however you see fit. She probably won't miss your money and would have a better experience with someone who's more respectful of her boundaries.

Some escorts who hide their face may show a picture after screening to make sure that a dude isn't a thirsty, time wasting picture collector (*hint hint*). If they state their policies on a showcase, advert, or website that they are okay with providing a face picture after screening, then go ahead and ask after you've completed screening. But coercing providers to send a face picture indicates a creepy lack of regard for boundaries and utter confusion about power dynamics.

And hiding the face adds a bit of excitement to the first meet. Have never been disappointed in any of the ladies I have seen who didn't post face pics. I don't imagine a lady would be very successful in this business if she were homely. And yes ~P is quite beautiful as her 100+ yes reviews can attest. But there are always going to be those creeps who want to push boundaries and try to inflict their insecurities on others.

I've often told providers they need to blur their faces or at minimum a blur streak across the eyes after the've had a few reviews, especially if its been stated repeatedly that they look really nice. One day you may want to retire and completely forget about this life and have no trace of it. Also, why take the chance of someone noticing you in public? I've spotted a couple of providers in public in the past. Doesn't seem like its worth the risk to me.
