I used to like Jeepers Creepers when I was a kid (Yeah, I'm a youngin) but can't bring myself to watch it again after learning about what a monster the director is in real life.
As for The Descent, it's one of my favorite modern horror films. I prefer the original ending rather that the "BOO!" jump scare ending that was shown in American theaters.
I saw Django in theaters today and while it was good, it didn't really blow me away. The last time that happened was when I saw Drive back in 2011.

Movies are so bad now that I just watch porn.
Lily Carter Is Irresistible was pretty good, except it was too soft core and romantic - Yeah, Right!

Ok, I am a total dork. I LOVE my horror movies, but I also like SciFi and comedy.
I liked Prometheus, Savages, Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Watch, 21 Jump Street, Dark Shadows, Man on a Ledge. I'm not listing them all because I am a dorky movie junkie.
Even though I liked these, not a one made me go Wow! But a few made me laugh incredibly hard!
I'm a bit twisted too, so my all time favorites are Natural Born Killers, Psycho, Paul, From Dusk Till Dawn, Desperado, House of 1000 Corpses, Devil's Rejects, Empire Records.

Honestly, since I joined the hobby, I hardly need porn anymore.
Speaking of movies, I read that the new film the Hobbit was shot 48 frames per second (fps) instead of the standard 24 fps which is normally used for feature films. Some people argue that the film looks more "realistic" at 48 fps. The problem is that a lot of critics are saying that the film quality of something shot at 48 fps is more like something you'd see for a tv soap opera. If I'm going to see a big budget fantasy film, I don't want it to look so "realistic" that you can see the makeup on the actors. It seems that filmmakers like Peter Jackson are spending a LOT of money on a process that actually makes genre films look more fake. The scary thing (at least for film fans) is that guys like Jackson want 48 fps to be used for all movies. Screw that. I want movies to look like movies, not soap operas.
End of rant.

I'd like to hear any thoughts about the movie "The Sessions."
I watched it. Although the theme is different from the hobby, I saw some correlations.
I'd enjoy hearing feedback.
Thanks!

Need it? I think of it as a kind of operator's manual for 20 year old pussy.
I still feel ridiculous slapping asses though.

Maybe need was too strong a word. I guess I'm not as compelled to watch porn now that I actually have the option of being with plenty of hot ladies in real life thanks to the hobby. I'll still watch stuff with my favorite stars though.

Judging from your fondness for pornster-providers, you seem to prefer to be (or to pretend to be) in porn instead of watching porn.

Ha well I've certainly felt like a porn star with those ladies. I actually tried to see two more porn stars in the last year or so but both cancelled their trips to Upstate NY.

I don't watch porn much any more either.
Concerning the horror, my favorites are the one that are written to be more believable, like the original psycho, everyone knows, remembers some one like norman bates. I also the excorist, because it was like a real life setting, happening to a normal family.
I did see the hobbit, and really liked, but still like lotr better.
I just hunger games in dvd, and thought that was cool.
I like the theatre, and want to see the new les miserables soon

I just saw Looper off redbox. I enjoyed it, I didnt love where it went, but I did enjoy it. A billion times better than the recent Batman movie, which is just life you won't get back.
Shit the way movies are these days, 5-6 crappy films equals a ten minute quickie w/Lana? If only I could use the latter for date night.

OMG, there is a movie called "The Reader" with Kate Winslet. I saw it about a year ago, and have seen it like 7 times in the last year. I have no idea why, but I just couldn't get it out of my mind. I found it extremely dark, haunting and sad, yet romantic and shocking. I even went online and looked at discussion forums, where others were equally transfixed by this film. However, it did receive terrible reviews by the general public. But Kate Winslet did receive an oscar for it. That reminds me, I have to get the book! The Reader is one of my favorite films!!!
