Well guess what? The Rock is absolutely right! In 13 states plus D.C., Obamacare will increase health premiums by 24%, on average. In the 13 states, plus D.C., where healthcare exchanges have been set up, only 5 states are projected to see a decrease in the average healthcare premium.. These states are Rhode Island, Ohio, Colorado, New York and California. But in 9 states, plus D.C., healthcare premiums are projected to increase on average. These states are Oregon, Washington, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut, Virginia, South Dakota, New Mexico, and D.C. That is an almost 2 to 1 margin where healthcare premiums are expected to increase rather than decrease in the states. Here is the link.

the state sets the price, bitch at the state ... sure SOME states will see an increase, some will see a decrease, neither of which is controlled by Obama, and not all of the states have made any projections either way

common knowledge ..

What a weak response! Nothing is Obama's fault, blame the states instead. With the exception of South Dakota, these are all blue Obama states. The 24% increase in healthcare premiums on average means nothing to you. And Obama's promise to lower healthcare premiums by $2000 per family per year means nothing to you. You are a dyed-in-the-wool Obamatron! Unbelievable!

so explain to the audience exactly how Obama sets the price of insurance in states ..

this should be good ..

oh yeah, the subsidies families receive to lower the cost of premiums must mean nothing to you.

You are the master of deflection. I will give you that! Obama promised that healthcare premiums would decrease under Obamacare. Instead, they are projected to increase by 24%, on average, in the states that have already set up healthcare exchanges. And these are Democratic controlled blue states for the most part. Did they not follow the rules and dictates of Obamacare when they set up their healthcare exchanges? If the problem is not the ACA, then you tell me exactly what the problem is.

no deflection, Obama doesn't set the states prices ...the problem is you're blinded by partisan talking points... Democratic controlled states have absolutely nothing to do with the way the state sets prices for their healthcare ... are you taking into consideration the subsidy a family will get when you quote 24% increases ? I read an estimated 6 million people will pay less than 100 bucks a month for a 300 dollar a month policy after they receive their subsidy ... kinda shoots your 24% increase in the ass doesn't it?

deal with it, its a law.

You say I'm blinded by partisan talking points. Coming from a dyed-in-the-wool Obamatron like you, that is laughable.

You obviously did not look very closely at the interactive map from the article I posted because if you did you would see that subsidies were factored into their projections. Since your too lazy to look it up for yourself, I will post a link to the methodology used in their projections. http://www.manhattan-institute.org/k...ates/about.htm

Those subsidies are only estimated to help a little over 6 million uninsured. There are currently an estimated 48 million uninsured today. That is a very small percentage that these subsidies will actually help. And these low cost insurance plans will only cover about 70% of their medical expenses, on average, leaving them responsible for the remaining 30%. How can they afford that, if they needed help to pay their premiums to begin with? And they will be limited to what doctors and hospitals they can use.

The authors of Obamacare are also counting on the young uninsured who are healthy to buy healthcare plans on the exchanges to help offset the costs of the older people whose healthcare will be costly. What happens when a lot of those young healthy uninsured simply refuse to buy a health care plan and just simply pay a small penalty instead?

Like Senator Baucus, one of the authors of Obamacare, said recently, the implementation of Obamacare is becoming a train wreck. And we will all be dealing with it very soon.

That's funny coming from you, one of the biggest defenders of Obamacare (and anything having to do with Obama).

It doesn't matter wheter Odumbo personally sets prices or whether he delegates that task to one of his lib-retard minions, CBJ7. As President Truman famously said, "the buck stops" at the president's desk.
