It would be foolish for them to try to intimidate another border country, one much more prepared than Ukraine. They can't handle what they have on their hands now, if they are even thinking of adding to it then their military leadership is inept (more so than demonstrated in the last couple of months.)
Looked at the map lately ?
The red parts are steadily growing.
Looked at pics from Ukraine?
You think Finland wants their cities to look like that ?
Finland has already had their cities look like that from a Russian invasion. They've just had 80 years to work on preparing for it again. The fact they are openly speaking about joining NATO shows they aren't intimidated.
Putin fucked up, plain and simple. NATO will grow, and it was unlikely to have before he invaded Ukraine.

But as long as Putin has financial backing from Countries such as India, he can build more heavy weaponry and ammunition.
It seems his whole plan is rather simple. Just sit back and destroy cities and kill people from a safe distance and dare anybody to do anything about it.
I would like to see some factual numbers on how battles between actual troops came out. How good are the Ukrainian Armed Forces in actual combat when coming face to face with Russians.
In the West, our news people’s reports are portraying the Ukrainians as a well trained and efficient force while calling the Russians a bunch of Draftees that didn’t even know they were going to war who are good at killing women and children from what ever range his artillery will reach.
There is a lot of fighting to do. NATO just committed to giving Ukraine a whole shit load of state of the art weaponry. Not defensive, but offensive.

Most of the financial backing is coming from EU countries that are still buying oil and natural gas from Putin while making heap big talk about supporting Ukraine.
Elections in Ukraine over the past ten years have drifted back and forth between pro and anti Russian candidates while violent social upheaval has remained constant along with the growth of far right militias such as the Azov commandos.
Total population of Sweden and Finland is about 15 million vs. Ukraine at 44 million so their Armed Forces are considerably smaller. The leaders of both countries sound positive about joining NATO. Makes sense after the invasion of Ukraine. But the citizens of each country have to vote. So who knows? Sweden and Finland may have some of the same kind of morons like the ones who voted for Joe Biden

The next month should be interesting.
I agree, the next month should be interesting and will tell a real story.
When you are able to use drones, anti tank weapons, and other similar weapons, face to face fighting is a small element of combat.
Fighting distances have constantly increased over the centuries, from hand to hand combat, to slingshots, to hand guns over swords, to rifles over arrows, to aircraft carriers over battleships.
