Several thoughts spring to mind...

First--Happy Birthday, Candy Lane--albeit belatedly. I've never met you-doubt I ever will. The "look at me--poor me" nature of this post makes it a virtual lock that I'd have no interest--even if you were scorching hot as the sun.

And Second--IF Dannie writes it, I wanna read it. I've never met her either-but would love to take her to lunch and buy her a beer/drink--maybe to celebrate Candy's birthday?

A happy belated birthday! Sometimes, we all have birthdays that just suck. The year before last was the best birthday that I've had in twenty years. The LAST birthday left me completely depressed for about a week.

It happens to us all. Just know that life is cyclical and you have to have the bad times to appreciate the good. And it WILL get better!!! I promise you that it always will!!!

Not wanting to be too critical and trying to say this respectfully, but can't we give the lady a break? Who among us hasn't had a bad birthday experience (or two or three...) and wanted to reach out to friends or community? I guarantee you if you have enough birthdays it will happen.

I'd tell y'all about my most recent birthday, but that's a whole other topic. Turned out OK, but was very, very different from anything typical. Just seems like as life goes on some will be memorable, some not so much, and a few will really suck.

It seems reasonable and more reasonable and genuine given the fact shes asking for a date and looking to be treated special and practically giving away services for free. Also the ability to share a special day with a provider puts the client on a level few attain.

Not so much that we are jumping your case but if we all have to follow the ad rules...then that means everyone. If asking for a date, put it in the ISO like a provider had done previously. Giving yourself a b-day threAD is not a bad thing, it was the 'check out my showcase comments.'
