Apparently because I had the chicken pox as a child, a ticking time bomb went off at 27 while buying my first house (STRESS) and I came down with the shingles. They suck man.

Sidenote: nice to see Adrienne Baptiste posting, you are gorgeous.

good start ct, however in the interest of public health and just plain old helping each other, consider this.

i say we kiss hell out of each other to ensure we all have a good case of flaming hsv1. lips and even nose broken out.

at this point we engage in rampant 69 in order to help each other build immunity to genital hsv2.

i myself prefer heterosexual immunity therapy. but if your preference is gay or lesbian, that's up to you.

About 20% of women have HSV2 in the general population. More common in women than men:
http://www.cdc.gov/std/herpes/stdfac...s-detailed.htm

Knowing that the rate would be higher in the sex worker community, I did a google search and found many studies, including the following:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2870498/

This study was done on sex workers in London. I thought that practices in London and Dallas would be relatively similar (having hobbied in both), meaning that mostly condoms would be used. In some other studies (for example done in some African countries), HSV2 rates in sex workers are found to be in the 90% range, but that would not be representative of Dallas, I believe.

And as the OP states, longer time in sex work is associated with higher rates, as common sense would indicate. 60% is an average number over all subjects studied. 74% of workers who have been in the business 3+ years:

I read somewhere that 67.8% of all statistics were made up.

no need, just figure out what multiple of the 8 partner average you are at.

I would say that if you have had over 50 sexual partners, you probably already have it but are afraid to admit it here. If you see a provider with over 10 reviews, chances are that she has had over 100 partners so she probably has it too, but is afraid to publicly admit it.

To OP, you must take in consideration of who you fuck! I.E.: trannies

six n thick, you must take into consideration this:

1, the statistics I quoted have nothing to do with just trannies.
2. I contracted herpes at a young age from a woman..who by the way, admitted it. (no matter, as many partners as I have had, I was bound to get it eventually)

I stopped counting years ago but I am sure my partner count is over 500 with the majority being females..

Default I wonder how relative this study is to hygiene . . .

Great article! I will be reading further into this while bathing and sipping a glass of wine later tonight.

From what you just wrote - The correlation between higher STD/STI rates and undeveloped/poorer countries may not just be a result of limited access to condoms, but access to clean running water as well.

As a former stripper who used to work in an extra's friendly club, I can tell you that the sanitary conditions were very poor. Nonetheless, there were many girls who exuded bad hygiene albeit out of carelessness or time restraints (had to go on the next guy before he leaves).

Nonetheless, we do know that certain STDs/STIs can be transmitted much easier through lack of personal hygiene since microbes can thrive in dead skin cells and bodily fluids.

I would love to see this study done again where sex workers could be asked about how the frequency of bathing in between clients.

Cleanliness is Godliness.

I would say that 90% sounds about right, even in Dallas

I guess it's just luck of the draw, man. Been fucking hookers and getting BBJs for over twenty years. Not even a sniffle.

Huh?
