Started on ASPD, I think I read about it in a provider's Backpage ad.

Eccie was active for more than a year before aspd died. It was more locally active in Dallas.

Aspd was throwing members overboard while on its death bed. Home2 and another local board (corndog) tried to rise from the ashes. But, had too much incestuous blood with aspd, and left a bad taste in many mouths.

Eccie was uniquely in a place to accept the old aspd members. They made the smart move of expanding in anticipation of the growing pains...instead of waiting for it to happen........I remember getting many emails asking where I was going to go.....I told all of them "home7". But, they found me anyway.

It was fluid for a couple of months at the end of aspd. Many not sure where the most visible would hang their hobby hats. Eccie was smart enough allow the local hobby communties (san antonio, austin, houston...ect) to take on their own flavor without fitting them into the dallas mold (where eccie had a strong presence).....and here we are.

I Googled a phone number from a BP ad and stumbled onto links to ECCIE reviews. So glad I found this community - I'm quite certain that without it, I would not have entered the hobby. I was definitely risk averse until I got into dialog with a couple of ECCIE ladies, and received great coaching and encouragement from one in particular.

I think this is the best thing that's happened to me in a long time. All the other boards were so negative and just not very active. This is a place where you can have fun. Not saying that things don't go on behind the scenes, but it's bought me a lot of new friends and business and a lot of recognition.

I found aspd when I first moved to Houston in Dec 1997. I think it was around that time. When I first joined aspd there was no locker room or ros. It was all out in the open. Oddly enough about the same time I found aspd I found John before amazing was around. He had ads in the health and fitness mag. and booked for Cindy. Then I found Natasha the russian chick. The problem aspd in the end was the leadership ran into the ground. There is no reason that eraps should have been rolling right along but some people just don't understand the relationship between providers and dudes.

I think my dates may be off a little. I lurked until the locker room was created then joined and that was around 2003. Which makes me think I found aspd around 2001. I went to an aspd event off of gessner and I-10 becasue the inventation was out in the open.
