Default Reality Check!

This thread is complete nonsense! The OP is either deliberately lying or utterly misinformed. Take your pick.

The government's pockets aren't thinning! The exact opposite is true. The federal government's coffers are BURSTING and OVERFLOWING with tax revenues!

And yet, the spendthrift idiots in the DC swamp still can't live within their means!

Gee, I thought the OP always prided himself on his ability to cite FACTS and EVIDENCE??

Well, here are the facts:

In Fiscal Year 2021 (12 months ending 9/30/21), the federal government's tax revenues soared by 18.2% to over $4.0 trillion, up from $3.4 trillion in FY 2020.

Then in FY 2022 (ending 9/30/22), federal tax receipts skyrocketed by yet another 21% to $4.9 trillion!

And they are projected to continue to grow in the current fiscal year!

So it's as clear as daylight that our federal government keeps greedily vacuuming up more & more of our hard-earned tax dollars!

Uncle Sam has seen his wallet grow at double digit rates in each of the last two years! That's much faster than the rate of inflation and much faster than our GDP is growing! This means our greedy and insatiable federal government is stealing more and more of the nation's economic pie!

How do we know this? Just look at the fucking data!

As a percentage of GDP, federal tax revenues have swelled from 16.2% in fiscal 2020 to a whopping 19.6% in fiscal 2022.

The only pockets that are thinning are your own pockets! That's you, the taxpayer, the private citizen who works hard to produce real wealth for the government to confiscate from you! The truth is that Uncle Sam is sucking more & more dollars out of YOUR paycheck and YOUR wallet every year! And wasting it on left-wing woke crapola!

So please everyone - don't listen to the nonsense being spewed by lying libtard ideologues! Just look up the real FACTS and EVIDENCE to expose their lying, thieving asses!

Wow, you really think that Biden has this tax dial that he just ramps up any time he feels like it? Who is the dumb one? And someone actually agrees and liked your post. lolol. At least you have good company. Mabye we need an idiocracy 2 and you two can be leading cast members.

notice that the OP doesn't (can't) provide any factual data to back his claim, because his claim is bogus and intended for other purposes ..

No new Tax plan must mean the one Trump initiated must be working. Because we all know Democrats want to destroy anything Trump did. We also know Biden is too stupid to come up with his own Tax Plan.

Who's fault is it? Maybe it's Casper the friendly ghost because Biden keeps shaking hands with him, lol.

Revenue and collections from taxes are down around 30% from this time last year so I don’t see that as an increase. Last I checked it’s what we call a decrease.

Don't know where you're getting your data since you haven't presented any, but the U.S. Treasury disagrees with you.

https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/amer...nment-revenue/

But hey, you were only off by a factor of 10. Not bad for a lawyer.

Ok. Good job sir. I’ll admit I’m incorrect as to the percent but my point is correct that it’s down rather than up. Your reference shows it’s down 74B from last year. Which remains less rather than more.

You're incorrect with respect to a lot of things, not just this percent.

You make a big stink about federal tax revenues being slightly off (-3.5%) from a VERY HIGH BASE during a 6-month period that excludes April, the month when individual returns are due and most federal income taxes are collected.

Yet you oddly (or deliberately?) fail to mention the FACT that federal tax revenues have SKYROCKETED by a whopping 44% over the last two full fiscal years - from $3.4 trillion in FY 2020 to $4.9 trillion in FY 2022.

That's way, way, way faster than the rate of inflation and the rate at which our overall economy has been expanding!

WHAT THIS MEANS IS - the federal government (under the demented & irresponsible Joe Biden, assisted by his recklessly spendthrift Democrats) is sucking up more & more of the precious wealth produced by the productive sector of our economy, then turning around and pissing it away on their wasteful, unproductive pork and corrupt vote-buying schemes contained in woefully misguided & misnamed bills such as the "American Rescue Plan" and the "Inflation Reduction Act".

I'm just trying to put everything into proper perspective, since it's evident the OP can't contextualize anything, let alone calculate a simple math percentage.
