I always go with the "is it worth all the effort foe LE to go through all the motions to set up accounts/hijack accounts, etc to set up an elaborate sting just to make a petty misdemeanor bust?" Invariably, the answer is no, but you really can never know for sure. It is so much easier for them to do the normal streetwalker stings for both providers and clients. I also bet use BP/CL to catch low hanging fruit as well-- either providers or clients. The best way to avoid LE is not to play, but that isn't any fun. Your best bet is to reduce your risk. Good advice has already been established. Some other ways to reduce risk include using word of mouth among the local hobbyists and providers. Also, seeing someone more than once helps put you at ease b/c you know their rates ahead of time and all you do is just set up a date w/out mentioning anything. After the fun is done, you leave the donation and go on your way.

Good advice. I have many times said that a little paranoia is good for anyone in the hobby.
At the same time, if your paranoia is overwhelming you, there are many other hobbies that you can spend your discretionary dollars on and not feel you have a big red bullseye painted on your rear end.
