My prediction a long time ago was Trump would win Texas in 2020 but by a smaller margin than the 9% he won by in 2016. All indications thus far support that prediction. My guess is that Trump's victory margin in Texas, assuming he wins, will be 5% or less. Texas is getting more blue every year.

California's primary house race is a little more competitive this time round.

a lot of blue vs. red. not too many blue vs. blue entries this time around.

pisslossi, nuke'em dukem dipshit, and pencil neck made the run off with healthy majorities; over 51% percent of the vote.

their jungle primary system is just weird, the top 2 candidates go into a run off regardless if the winning candidate won 51% of the vote as the way it is done in Louisiana.

I noticed alot of those blue vs. red races, have blue votes over 51% over red votes. I fail to see why there should be a run off when a candidate doen't make the cut. they're just asking for more humiliation by run against the expected, defacto winner in that district.
