People kicked control of Congress over to the Democrats in the midterm elections of Trump's term in office. That did not change how Trump tried govern. Trump would not have been able to get his agenda thru. You had CoVid hit during Trump's last year in office.

Control of the House of Reps has often changed during Midterm elections, if wasn't just when Clinton was president.

Salty gets it. Not trying to stifle or cancel anyone. There are too many others on both sides doing that. I'm exact opposite.

I started this thread with a pretty negative attitude. Kind of like why bother? But a bunch of you have made me understand a lot better. I'm glad this is here too! But for you guys. Most of it is not for me. A lot of the other threads are very toxic. I'm not getting in there.
