I find naive to think the disease is focused on the election in the United States. What about the Germans, Australians and Norwegians? They are taking precautions because the disease is REAL. Yes, for many it is not an issue but some do die or have significant issues.



As the the number of deaths, this article makes the case that there are over 260,000 more deaths than would be expected in the USA. Granted you could argue that some of the deaths could be caused by fear oF the disease, not the disease itself.

I am always surprised at the level that people are influenced by politicians and the media. I had a conversation with a client couple in February who have Fox News on all day. They are a nice and otherwise intelligent couple, but they went on and on about how COVID was a hoax created by CNN & MSNBC because it made Trump look bad. I asked them if CNN also made China, Italy, S Korea and Germany put restrictions in place. They thought that the answer was yes. Luckily, they called me a few days later to tell me that they were coming around because Glenn Beck said it was real lol.
