Would a Meet & Greet work in New Orleans?

It worked in Northern California, for a short time. Too many LE on here, its unfortunate but there is not a private forum set up (that I know of). Prior to Black Tuesday 2004 in Houston several meet and greets took place that were successful because it allowed providers and hobbyist to meet who otherwise never would because of board personas. This was during the ASPD days, and camera phones were not out yet, no social media, etc.... That was a different time and place. These days not a good idea.

What worked also was there was a group of us from the hobby who met every Friday for drinks, different place each week. We knew each other, no different than guys going for drinks after work. If one of us met a new provider or one who was already established and she was interested in attending, word was put out and if all agreed by all means show up. NO, she was not invited again next week. Text would go out around 3 on Fridays. Many weeks it was just us guys, however much information was exchanged. The meet and greets was a big circle that they no longer could control. The Friday group was a much smaller circle that worked for us. We didn't let just anyone in and I know for a fact none of us were cops.

Back to a meet and greet today, ain't no way I'm going. Too much to control and you can't. I'm very single these days by choice, many on here are not and have too much to lose if they get splashed on social media, newspapers.........2009 Meet and Greet fiasco threw all the orbits out of whack.

I agree with iLovethemgirls68....I know TOOOO MANY People around the Metro New Orleans Area to attend anything like this (But I would LOVE TOO). One knucklehead or Informer is all it would take to start a firestorm for someone.

As an attendee you have no control over the environment, nor do you have a clue as to who is there or what their motives are.....I'll just stick to my "lurking" and use the info from reviews.

I've been to a meet in greet on BR years ago . It went well btw. They are as safe and private as you make it. For example. If you don't want to do for whatever reason don't go.
How do you make it safe and private you ask? Simple you have someone basically host it. And by host I means handle the invites. They post a thread like this one saying if you have interest to PM them. Then they screen you to make sure you're a good pick for this party.

They give you the date, time, and location via PM so it's never posted in an open thread. Not only that you are all consenting adults meeting in a public place no laws against that. No different than a high school reunion.

Again if you're not comfortable with going then don't go. Simple as that.

I agree with biomed1 methods, in fact I met him at one of the Mississippi gulf coast m&g. I understand if anyone doesn't want to attend due to security issues but a discussion group meeting in person is not a crime and there are no illegal activities during these eventS it's just some people meeting for a social get together. We can just call ourselves insurance agents or whatever. How many times I have seen groups gather at public places and it's not an issue.

The meeting place is not publicly posted only given out to screened attendees.

I would be in for going if my schedule allows.

Going to a meet&greet and still introducing yourself
with Username/handle is still not private enough.If one
client crosses paths in the real world with another client at a his work place{example:Honda Dealership},he can go back and tell a provider,white knights can accidently spill the beans in casual conversation. Connecting dots are not that difficult.Too many loopholes.

I'd go to one of it was feasible. A New Orleans one would be way tough to get to for me though. If there was one in Houma, I'd go. No crimes are being committed by meeting up with people and having drinks. What exactly would the charge be if a cop fucked with us? I've done FAR more crazy things than that to worry about the danger of a simple meet-and-greet.

As for someone seeing the gathering that knows me? Who cares? Tons of excuses come to mind. It's not like we'd be fucking in the bar, so an excuse would be easy.

Best I can recall, only as I can recall, and no I've never attended any.
I think it was the last M&G in Nola that cause the biggest rip and feud between several providers on this site, thinking it was because of some M&G rule infractions. It really got ugly and personal on this site.
Not sure I'd attend, however a men's bar discussion (Houma area) is interesting
no an irregular basses, noting after work till i find work. LOL.

It'll definitely work out well as long as everyone shows each other respect. As far as meeting the person behind the handle several of us guys have already done so on our own. A meet and greet is a win win for everyone involved. As long as the drama is left at the door. Which I'm sure it will be as the biggest one against this definitely won't show cause it would expose they aren't who they say they are. "Mandle"

As you have pointed out in the past about the escorts that got caught with mandles and most have,it is nothing new and it doesn't interrupt the process of anyone getting pussy.Everyone can remain private behind any handle they choose and as long as they are not going into any private rooms or meet and greets.The last time I checked...men are not meeting men for fucking on Eccie.There are plenty of women that want to remain UTR without being approached for services.I don't give a fuck how anyone remains anonymous, none of my business.
