Wertham was a mindless Boob who fabricated and embellished imperical evidence to support his own theory. later , in fact, recanting his statements and actually writing a book 'in favor' of comic book 'fandom'. -----just the facts Ma'am.

Iron Man - comics version.

No real complaints about the movies, (except for them neutering the Mandarin) but the comics version of Tony Stark will always be my favorite.

I used to have a subscription to Iron man when I was young. I always got excited when you could catch a glimpse of an expiremental armor or different suits in the arsenal.
I must say , however, Rober Downey jr DOES do a great 'Tony Stark'. It is cool if you disagree, but I think he nails it. IMHO.

Peace

I do agree that he nails it and even beyond the acting RDj's been a good ambasador for Marvel film francise in general far beyond what the other actors mentioned for the role could have pulled off.

I just like the more serious Tony Stark from the comics, the guy who is consulted on super hero legislation. I loved the specialty suits also and as a teenager knew far more specs for the Iron Man armors than was probably healthy. I'd forget a girls name/birthdate but could rattle off the ft/lbs of force the Iron Man mark III's boot jets could generate.

Beast! (an X-Man), Spider Man, Wolverine, Jean Gray (judge me?), Charles Francis Xavier, Beyonder. Is this a Rorschach test?
