Ya think..?
your whole intention is when you visit a lady or a club anyway, to use them.
Speak for yourself..
You're no better than anyone else, especially if all you do is disrespect those that are trying to make it in life.

And btw...who are you talking to??..from your soapbox that is?

My target audience is to whomever the shoe fits.
BTW, though I haven't seen her in about 6 months because she's been inactive, a long and well known KC provider wanted to know if I was in town, cuz she wanted to bring over a casserole and chill out for dinner. I turned her down because I was hanging with a friend, but had I not I would've loved to have her stop by. For a guy that doesn't have any reviews to his name...I must be doing something right.
Frankly, I guess it doesn't really matter what any of you guys get out of this post. I just see a lot of guys in clubs treat ladies like dirt, and I hear stories from escorts as well. Just looks and sounds like there's a lot of knuckle draggers who feel that money buys you everything but class.

So your criticism of guys disrespecting providers is based on what some escorts tell you??
... And you want to tell us how you are doing things so right?
I know through lots of experience here that there are plenty of hobbyists here that respect the providers, do favors for them, WK for them, take pictures for them, give them personal help, and frequently give them what they want... $.
Strange for you to come on here and call kc hobbyists disrespectful of providers based on "what escorts tell you". Methinks you don't know what you are talking about.
I wonder if the nice lady felt disrespected when you turned down her casserole offer?

Respect is a 2 way street, we all reap what we sew. There are a providers out here that renigg on mutual agreements that they have made between themselves and the client and don't follow through with it, then it makes a bad name for themselves. Trust me the providers are hanging themselves left and right, just by the things they say and don't follow through with. Ijs respect is earned and given when deserved.

Thank you Johnny.. I didn't have enough guts to say this when I read this yesterday. Glad you did. I hate rants like this where some guy preaches to rest of us. In my experience, most of the guys here treat the ladies very respectfully, maybe to the point that it costs us, like when a reviewer gives a yes recommendation when he had less than a good experience.

Well, we all know that you indeed to be respectful when you say equal. I was trained in science and math and equal from a math standpoint, where the term came from, means that two things are exactly the same. Men and women are not exactly the same, we are different and I love the difference. The math term equivalent could be used if everyone understood it.
All people should be respected for who they are, what they are, their talents and abilities.
We have girls in the hobby who try to rip off every guy they meet, but most of us pick up on this and don't see them.
For those ladies who have made our lives more enjoyable, we thank you.

You are free to stick to the math definition, I'm using the common usage form so I am correct in using it.

How do we express what we mean?

Of course you are correct in using it: no one said you weren't. The problem is with the language we all use. It just doesn't get the job done well enough to say what we want to say. Different languages say it differently.
We all need to remember that language changes, sometimes rapidly and sometimes slowly, but it changes.
Common usage may lack some of the definition of meaning. The math illustration was meant as an illustration of how our use of words can affect our conversations and meaning.
Of course, no one means to say that men and women are identical; but, that is what equal really means by the denotative meaning (precise) of the word. The implied meaning, connotative, expresses something entirely different.
So, you are right.

When a provider or dancer shares with me details of their life, yeah I tend to believe what they tell me simply because I can tell the difference between being closed off, or forthcoming both in the voice and body language. Take what I say...or don't. BTW, kinda reads like a little defensiveness from some of you, IMHO.

You seem to be full of yourself.
Start a post by saying that some escorts have told you that they have been treated badly, then turn that into an attack of the hobbyists in this community. So if my posts read defensive, it's because they are. Defending other hobbyist from your half baked bullshit logic.
We can't take what you say or not take it. It's nonsense. You should move on and stop with your painting all men , except for yourself, as disrespectful.

If the shoe fits...
Thanks to OP for his thoughts. I do not see things exactly as you do but I agree with the general sentiment and applaud your willingness to risk sharing it.
Don't take the negative comments too seriously. If you read other contributions here by same posters you'll see a pattern of perverse attitude; these are ECCIE's trolls =

Here's part of a response by the StripClubHound [former manager] to a writer who complained about the ugly attitude of some male patrons:
Quote:
There are some guys who go to strip clubs for the chance to treat women like shit or to at least feel superior to them. They see the act of the dancer stripping for tips like her humiliating herself before someone who has power over her. In most cases, the opposite is true. The dancer has the power over the guy but most guys don't see it that way. I doubt most dancers see it that way but it's usually true unless they're really desperate for money.
Dancers have often asked me why men go to strip clubs. Some of them when they start out assume that the customers must be men who have no attractive women getting naked in their private lives. They're either married to someone who no longer turns them on or they're hopelessly single. After a while, they realize that there are cool guys who go to strip clubs who just enjoy the entertainment and the interaction. We had celebrities in my club who obviously didn't have much trouble getting laid by supermodel types outside the club. They still enjoyed spending a few hours in a strip club.
However, there are rude assholes and misogynists too. There are usually at least a couple in any crowded club and there are always a few on message boards that discuss strip clubs. Don't be afraid to mingle with them. You can't avoid them if you want to go to strip clubs unless you only go to the most expensive gentlemen's clubs which are usually very costly and no fun. Just look at the assholes, study them and learn how not to be like them.
|
He's not a romantic who thinks all strippers [in this case, but can generalize to other sex workers] are wonderful, generous human beings. Again from his response:
Quote:
Don't think most dancers think about you at all except as someone who may put some money into their purses or g-strings. That's all you are to most dancers.
Yes, there will be some who will think that if you go to strip clubs, you must be a creep or a psycho. Just as there are some men in strip clubs who have problems with all women, there are some strippers in strip clubs who have problems with all men. You can't do anything about that.
