There are a few things you and many others don't understand. For instance all the Laws Government has imposed upon its citizens are primarily for profit. Drugs are illegal because the Government makes a profit off of the arrest of the offenders. Abortion is legal because the Government profits off of the termination of a pregnancy. Gun Control is also a profitable endeavor as well because it imposes control by the Government over it's people. The same thing goes for Welfare it enables control by the Government. The larger Government becomes the more control over it's people they can have. When citizens rally for Gun Control who is it they want to control the guns? The answer to that question is the government. Essentially they are asking the Government to take away their rights. These are liberal concepts not conservative. Conservatives will protect the second amendment and live with dangerous freedom, while Liberals would rather ban all guns and live in safe slavery. America was founded on the basis of Freedom and Liberty not Safety. To ban one particular type of Firearm to curb gun violence is a lie and everyone who was at that rally fell for it.
