Traci, I will probably never see you cuz I will never meet your screening standards, I suspect.

That said, screening is all about making you comfortable. I would never ask you to change your screening requirements just cuz I think I am a nice guy. Screening to your comfort level insures that when the guy walks through the door, you will be at your best, relaxed and not afraid that Bozo the clown has his CHL gun stuffed in his costume.

For us old timers who are used to dealing with the "professional" ladies here, we just assume that there is cooperation amongst all of the ladies. Every once and awhile we get reminded that Dorothy had to walk a long ways down that yellow brick road before she reached the land of Oz. Perhaps one day the Wizard can give some of these other ladies a brain to understand that cooperation makes this a safer place for all of us.

tigercat - LOL, my screening isn't that hard. I'm sure it's not much different from most ladies' that take it seriously. I'm just looking for more options. Thanks for the posts. And for the record, I'm not sure which would scare me more.. the clown or the gun. :P

For us old timers who are used to dealing with the "professional" ladies here, we just assume that there is cooperation amongst all of the ladies.

Unfortunately some women just feel "threatened" or like there's competition. I found this to be the case more in Vancouver, where screening is almost nil. Some women will either give bad references (for a good client), no reference at all, or good references for bad clients.

Two "upscale" providers were assaulted (by the same white client), a former provider was murdered, and two girls from a local micro (AMP run out of a house) were murdered that year. So I started the reference ribbon campaign (http://missy-mariposa.com/reference.htm) which I was hoping would at least help out a bit. It did, at least in my eyes. Now I see that banner everywhere, which makes me smile too. All I ever wanted was women to feel safe asking another woman for help. And for women to be safe at work. Not so much to ask really.

As far as your problem OP, I don't know what to suggest. I offer similar screening to you - P411/DC, References, and Employment Verification. If a visitor is in the military, there are a few other ways you can screen them to prove that. I've seen university students without jobs, as there are also some easy ways to verify them. But other than that? No exceptions.

Taylor, it sounds to me that you're being the rude one here. Traci asked a question and you're the one with the smart ass remark. Good luck with your screening if you do any.

Traci, not sure what the easy answer is to your question. Some people just refuse to give out too much personal info. I understand why if they have a lot to lose. They do need to realize that they need to give in order to receive.

Traci, So far I have only seen ladies who only require P411 Oks. I just want to get into provider references, since I am not really into asking for references. But I understand some girls needing it. My nagging doubt has been, about the competitive thing, since I have had good times with the girls I have seen so far, but not sure they will be truthful.

But I think I know understand from what you have posted, why some girls ask for references instead of just OKs. Now on my part I put a picture of myself on P411, so girl can see what I look like, to get an idea, not that it might help a lot in knowing if I am going to show with bad Hygiene or bad breadth or I might be a plain jerk.

Either way, for now, I don't contact ones that require references, maybe in future. Btw, I got you on my list :-)

I use p411 for this very reason!!! It takes 5 seconds and you don't have to contact or wait on anyone!

Just because the men hang with each other, doesn't mean they're ok behind closed doors with the ladies. Are you intimate with those friends and drinking buddies too? If the answer is no, then it's obvious the vouches are not acceptable alternatives.
