Sheriff Darryl Daniels is currently under criminal investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for falsely arresting the woman he was having an affair with.
He accused the woman of stalking him after he ended the affair. The woman was a Duval County sheriff's officer who worked in the county jail under the direct supervision of Mr. Daniels. He's also had other official misconduct on his record.

Oh, he's also up for re-election and has 6 challengers who are running for the Clay County Sheriff position.

A real American hero, lol!
