Actually, I come and go. I don't live here. I pass through and throw some rocks at poor IB, IIFFy, and a few others because it is fun to watch them flail and drool. But I actually am active on a number of other boards as well. So are folks like Whirley, GFEJunkie, and others. When I meet them on a different thread I am completely civil and often agree with their posts. My comment was addressed to people like IB (and others) who essentially spend their entire ECCIE life in this forum--and maybe their entire life! As much as they post it seems that way. If you look at where I post, most days I come in to ECCIE I post maybe 5 or 6 posts and usually in more than just the political forum. That in my mind is NOT being held self-captive in here.

IB on the other hand: his last 700 (yes, SEVEN HUNDRED) posts have never left the Political Form (it likely is a lot more than that, but a quick scan showed at least that many)--not a single post anywhere else. And, it was done in a month. That is 8400 posts in a year!! THAT, sir, is someone who has trapped themselves in the zoo as an inmate, not a visitor.

Just for a different comparison: In one month IB has about as many posts as you have made in over 4 years. YOU obviously have a life that takes you out of the zoo to actually live in the real world. IB doesn't.

Highly reputable, modern, academic historians (e.g., Oxford and Cambridge) specializing in the study of the Crusades disagree with you, Stumpy the Inbred Chimp, and your opinion of what Lamb wrote.
