Leaders don't play sematic games about what the term "war plans" means. Liars play semantic games; leaders own their errors. Leaders, especially those who have sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution and protect the country whose course it directs, uphold the same standards and obey the same rules as those they command.

Everyone makes mistakes, but, here, we see a pattern of deliberate mendacity.

First it was sharing data on Signal. Now it is using Gmail to communicate official business. Where is the National Security team’s next face plant going to happen? If they fail to obey clear prohibitions on using these media to communicate, if they evade owning their errors, why should we trust them to lead our children into battle or give candid counsel to the president when a real crisis or emergency occurs?

In my career, I saw people disciplined for less than what Gabbard, Hegseth, and Waltz did on Signal.
