The entire NFC East is all smiles because of the Cowboys this year. If the playoffs were based on overall record, they'd still SUCK.

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

the offense has had one good game in 2 months.. 17-9, would have been 24-9 if Sanders had not shown mercy, and gave himself up, sliding around the 15 yard line.. he had an easy touchdown.
pitiful season.. Red Jesus must go.

Yeah. How many must win regular season games does JG have to lose before Jerry wakes up and decides to part ways with him? I know he wants to keep him because he is a yes man, but he doesn't produce any meaningful results when they matter most so he needs to go.
The Eagles were missing so many key players and the Boys still fucked it up under JG's tutelage as usual.

I think today was Garrett's real chance to stay.. but he proved he could not motivate the players in 2 consecutive weeks, despite the importance this game had.. the last game was a fluke, the Boys have basically sucked for 2 months.. the Announcers keep saying "high-powered offense", but it's a mirage like you said a couple of weeks back, piling up easy yards after the game was long decided in the loss column.

They still gave a chance to get to the playoffs. If Philly loses and the Cowboys win next week, both teams will be 8-8 but Philly will have 2 East losses, Cowboys only one.
Correct?

That was not mercy. That was smart clock management. Something the Cowboys are a stranger to.
I can not wait for Philly to lose next week and then Dallas to lose, too. Hopefully the Eagles game ends earlier so all the Cowboys fans can have one last torment before they are all put out of their misery.

Cowboys fans have been tormented for damn near a quarter of a century. Any logical fan should know how the annual season ending disappointing narrative is written by now... at least this season for their fans, there just won't be any delusions of a successful playoff run.

no.. it was mercy.. rewind your DVR, you will see that when Sanders deliberately went to the ground, around the 15 yard line, there was about 27 seconds left in the game. if he scores, and he would have, what is there to "manage"? even assuming the absurd, that the Cowboys ran the post-TD kickoff back for a touchdown, the margin of victory is still 8 points, and the game is over.
had Sanders kept going for the touchdown, I'm sure some around the league would have busted his chops for running up the score.

It was not mercy. He essentially ended the game by going down. The sole purpose of that move was to make sure that Dallas did not got the ball back. It had absolutely nothing to do with not wanting to run up the score. If Philly was up by 21 at the time that he busted off that run I can guarantee you that he would have taken it to the house and then danced like Maury just told him that he was not the father.
Cowboys fans are dumb. I hope Jerry hires Jeff Fisher.

Who goes to strip clubs to specifically watch sports on TV, especially with no sound?
The Cowboys suck and the team is overrated, not just by the media, but also JJ himself. Maybe it is a good omen that they lost so that Garrett does not get his contract renewed. But, he kinda did it to himself, as he did not play his best players when it mattered the most. They traded a first round pick on Cooper, he was not hurt, yet he was not on the field on that last 4th down play. Zeke should have carried the ball 30 times and let him earn that money he just got paid.
Speaking of which, all the players, who still get paid their millions of dollars a year regardless of the record, may say the right thing in interviews stating that it all a matter of execution and all, but I am sure they are also tired of Garrett and want a new direction. But little do they know, JJ, the most hands on owner in the league, runs the team, not the head coach.

Do you have to interject in every active thread? It is pretty obvious by your hot take that you do not follow the Cowboys or football at all.
Its a good thing they lost because if they won Garrett would have his contract renewed? Little do the players know that Jerry is in charge? You sound like a girl that never watches sports but decided to watch espn on a Monday morning so she could try to impress the boys in her class when she got to school that day. Nothing short of a Super Bowl victory could save Garrett's job. Every fan of American sports knows that Jerry is the most hands on owner in the league. I guess the next thing that you are going to tell us is that the Cowboys would have won yesterday if they had just scored more points than the Eagles.
