I had a typo it's "Q" clearance. If you are into credentials like EX-CEO, these scientists who signed the letter certainly have them. "Q" clearance is a Military TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE. You didn't read the letter did you?

Also signing is Siegfried S. Hecker, a Stanford professor who, from 1986 to 1997, directed the Los Alamos weapons laboratory in New Mexico, the birthplace of the bomb. The facility produced designs for most of the arms now in the nation’s nuclear arsenal.
Other prominent signatories include Freeman Dyson of Princeton, Sidney Drell of Stanford and Rush D. Holt, a physicist and former member of Congress who now leads the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the world’s largest general scientific society.
Most of the 29 who signed the letter are physicists, and many of them have held what the government calls Q clearances — granting access to a special category of secret information that bears on the design of nuclear arms and is considered equivalent to the military’s top secret security clearance.

He doesn't care about facts or circumstances. He has made up his mind that it's a bad deal because Obama is involved, nothing else needs to be said in his mind. He's a fucking mental midget. Don't waste your time.

A senate democrat predicts that there will be enough votes to block a veto override attempt by the republicans by the end of the week. So far, there are 31 democratic and independent senators who say they will vote for the deal. Only 34 votes are needed in the senate to block the veto override.

A No vote will make ISIS very happy- as it stands right now Iran is the biggest deterrent to ISIS in the middle East.

Meaningless. I read all three letters days ago. I knew they all weren't nuke scis. Again, the issue isn't IF they cheat or IF they'll be found out, it's what are the consequences? There are none. There are no "snap back options." They can happily go on making the bomb. What does the first General/Admirals letter say if the Iranians cheat other than all options are on the table? All bark, no bite.

And I agree whether the "treaty" doesn't pass the legislature is meaningless, the "gimmees" to Iran have already left the barn thanks to Obama obtaining a UN agreement. The only hope was to renegotiate the deal and that's not going to happen with this administration.

The main point is that if Israel attacks Iran's nuke sites, they are on their own. Again, when Obama's term is over Iran will not have substantially fulfilled any major obligation.

You think this mouthbreather is able to make that distinction?

He doesn't understand how Iran could hate ISIS just as much as we do. Hell, they're closer to Iran than they are to us, he should at least get that part.

No they don't sir except defending their land- they are surronded by hostile enemies. Shouldn't the number one job of any country be to protect its citizens ? Israel never signed the nuclear proliferation act but it's widely known that since the 80's - Israel has nukes- even if they announced today that they were building a nuke - all the republicans would be elated and probably would pressure Obama to give Israel everything they need to build a nuke.
Most of you republicans choose to erase or distort history - it was the United States who supported a brutal dictator by the name of Shah Reza Palavi. Even when the Shah's regime were violating various human rights law and jailed or killed anyone who spoke a word against the regime - the U.S turned a blind eye- you know why ? Because we were more concerned in using Iran as a spy station on the soviets. So don't none of you feed me this feel good story of how we care about human lives because we don't - we only care about what's best in our interest.
Also keep in my the Taliban were in power 5 years before we invaded Afghanistan and in those 5 years they were still as brutal as ever and one of the first words out of George W Bush's mouth were the Taliban has one of the most brutal regimes ever we need to liberate the people of Afghanistan. A total lie and bullshit - where was the U.S the previous 5 years?

Who had the White House for those 5 years BEFORE Bush took office ? Oh ! That's right ! Slick Willy the sexual predator ! The same one that rewrote HIS history after leaving office by saying that HE could have taken out Bin Laden ! But HE didn't do SHIT about EITHER ONE, now did he, Mr. Friggen AGENDA. You are entitled to your own fucked up OPINION , by not your own FACTS, doofus !

This, I hate to admit it, is true. We have meddled in Iran for decades, going WAY back. Go read up on it. And it's all come back to bite us in the end as Russia and Iran are now friendlier than ever. Who facilitated that friendship?
