That is moronic. So according to you someone who visits a state for a few weeks should be the responsibility of and accounted in the state they visit rather than the state they actually live in. Unreal.
Are you going to extend all the benefits of being a resident of Florida to these visitors. Like NO income tax. Or enable them to vote in Florida elections.
Hell, using your silly criteria I would qualify as a resident of Florida given I spend 2 to 4 weeks a year there each year. I will tell that to PA so I don't have to pay income taxes any longer

You quick with the comments apparently you didn't read it all. I said people like the snow birds, 4 to 6 months. I guess you didn't catch that. You wanted to be able to call someone a name with out really calling me a name, I get it. That was your perfect opportunity for you to fit it in. After 15 minutes an ostrich puts their head back in the sand.

none the less, with out a direct income tax, floridians pay a higher amount of sales tax and some corporate taxes than other states. Hell they pay almost the same amount of property tax though as people do in PA. The proverbial free lunch / tax free state has gone the way of the dodo. The intent was to tax those who visited FL in the form of tourism, and many of those people have come and decided to stay. There are some nice places in FL, but also some real shitholes. with the biggest shithole being Mar-A-Largo. There is a guy with orange tits who doesn't even follow a single rule of the same "resort" by bucking the by-laws of the said same shithole and living there in perpetude. You can tell the place by the long line of GOPer's who line up to kiss the ass / ring of the circus clown there.

You didn't say snowbirds there 4 to 6 months. Pathetic that you have to resort to so many lies. That are so easily exposed

The sales tax rate in Florida is the same as it is in Pittsburgh. And there is no state income tax in Florida thanks to the taxes tourists bring in on hotels, rental cars, goods and services, etc

In addition to not having an income tax, Florida does not have an estate tax. The property/school taxes are about the same as in PA (at least in my areas of FLA and PA but it varies by county). I will absolutely be chucking this snow and thyroid cancer infested shithole for bikinis and palm trees as soon as the yungins are through college.

They think they are smart, we see how smart they are. It is like a magic act, they keep everyone from seeing beyond the smoke and mirrors. Its all good, I make them feel good about themself''s for about 15 minutes. Then its back to the same old them.

Have u notice cnn and the rest of the liberal media havent said too much about desantis lately... wonder why?
Because Florida's rates have been drastically dropping

Chizzy the local paper like the Miami Herald are all calling Desantis a zealot and moron. They are calling him a hypocrite for promoting the anti-vax scare AKA maga mentality, when he is already vaccinated. His stance against both masks and vaccines really don't coincide with the science. CNN is more focused on what happens in Virginia and the dumbass who shot someone on a movie set. Fox seems to be more interested in the Durham report...more bullshit and oh yeah, the Trump guys from the Jan 6 "casual visit" to the Whitehouse aka insurection hasn't gotten a peep from fox news, but the council has issues soepenas to everyone including Banon. They are talking and it's pretty damning...not that it will stick, cause this is politics and it's not what you know or prove, it's what you make voters think. The whole bullshit mechanism is still working at warp speed.

Two points I would.make
1. I havent followed desantis closely but the times I have, he has said people should get vaxd but said it should not be forced upon people.... that's not being anti vaxd that's letting people decide what they do and that's the way I also feel should be
2. Masks are a joke period. The cdc says cloth and paper masks are roughly 8% effective and n95 masks are about 58%. Wtf good are paper or cloth masks???
Just my thoughts
