I'm a Rick Santorum or Newt Gingrich fan myself. Ron Paul is correct that nation building is none of our business and most likely to fail.......look at all the socialist scum we bred in Europe after WWII............

where Ron Paul is grossly wrong is the necessity of war.....our problem is that we don't wage enough wars......you kill your enemies, break their stuff and go home.....if they still cause you a problem, you go back kill some more enemies and break some more stuff.....repeat until satisfied.....

Is Ron Paul right? I am not sure but what has been going on for quite a while is NOT working so maybe we should listen to him. I would probably follow him but have a big stick penalty if Iran directly or indirectly attacks the US. We could take out their entire navey without much effort. We could send a cruise missile after the president of Iran. Make it clear we will live and let live as long as they do not fuck with us.

As economic interaction occurs I think national hatreds will mellow.
