In a representative republic this is should be enough to stop it.
A majority of the people in the United States do not want them either.
In a democracy, this would be enough to stop it.
In this administrations empire, they do not give a fuck about the people of this nation or the the States that make it a republic.

State governers do not set federal immigration policy, that's not how it works.

That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works. I have a feeling if it were an issue you agreed with, you wouldn't have a problem with how it is being done. Bottom line is the states don't set the immigration policy of this country.

that's why congressionl republicunts is currently attempting to pass a law virtually banning Syrian refugees from being admitted. The President has the right to veto that bill if it gets to him, and im pretty sure he will.
