The winner of last years Super Bowl (Giants) looked as bad today as the Texans did last week.
As Satin said a few weeks ago, any given Sunday!!!!!!!

The Pats lose a close one! Their loss is particularly sweet for the Texans. It appears that all the Texans have to do is win one of their two remaining games in order to secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs!
If my memory serves me correctly, it would also mean that the Pats and the Bronocos will probably be paired the week prior to the AFC Championship game, meaning the most we would have to do is play one or the other, not both!
Let's take care of business next week against the Vikings so we can coast against Indy!

Pats done Fucked up by giving up the two seed the way the did, because that's pretty much what just happened, Denver just needs to beat Cleveland and KC at HOME and they get the 2 spot. Unreal. I'm betting Denver will beat NE since it will be in Denver, then we play Denver here, and we've already beaten them this year, plus they will have won like 12 or 13 straight games at that point, so they will for sure be due for a loss.
Funny how things work out, I guess.

Equally as important, it would also mean that the Pats and the Bronocos would be paired the week prior to the AFC Championship game, meaning the most we would have to do is play one or the other, not both!

BT.. I may be wrong but I believe all we need is one more to secure top seed. That will put us 13-3. Pats have 4 losses. If we tie 13-3 with the Broncos, we own the head-to-head tiebreaker. Hopefully we can tie Peterson's shoe laces together next week and get some rest wk 17. Hell, if we loose @ Colts like ALWAYS. There might still be something left for next year's to-do list.

Yup, BT had it, we just need one of the last two, I say we just win the last one anyway to give a big "Fuck you" to Indy for all the shit they put us through the last 10 years.
Fuck their feel good story, I'd rather see a team like the Jets go into the playoffs over them anyway, they could actually have a chance of pulling of an upset, Colts will just get blown out and will be content to just be their.

I believe I said that "all we need is one more to secure top seed." Just in a different way!

Do NOT underestimate the douchebag Pats as a very good road team when it comes to the playoffs - In the last decade alone they won playoff games at both Pittsburgh and San Diego!

I'm SURPRISED the Pats lost but glad they did! Fuck 'em!! That made the Texans look better and increase their chances of having home field throughout the playoffs by only having to win one out of the two remaining games.
The NFC side is starting to look real interesting. The Falcons will more than likely secure home field, but if they play the Packers or the 49ers they're done.

Lmao at the semantics on how you say it...you boys crack me up....you're all correct...
Yea the Pats finally lost, but that was a great game. It did help the Texans....I'm now getting concerned about the Broncos too. Those boys are on a roll. I'm glad we caught them early. What was that talk about Peyton having a weak arm?
We control our own destiny so you can't ask for more than that. If we can contain AP (good luck) & for good measure beat Luck again, we will go into the playoffs riding high on a nice roll....
Sorry DED, but remember way back before the season started the prediction I made about your Steelers? I see you were also smart not to take the bet I was proposing. (not that you would have actually paid or anything)... lol

I think the Pats are a far worse match-up for us than the Broncos. Pats and Packs basically run the same style of offense, and both smoked us, if we play Manning, we won't have to deal with that bullshit. And the Broncos are hot right now, but they've been playing a bunch of chumps (Baltimore is shit right now), and they will lose at some point, and I'm sure it will be right here in reliant.
I like our chances against AP next week, just keep 8 in the box, and we will be fine, Ponder is non-existent and not a threat.
I'm curious as Fuck to see who wins the North, all those teams are sucking right now and are banged up, I think Cinci will end up taking that division...
I'm going to go ahead and start putting in some Superbowl match-up bets, I would suggest any fellow gamblers do the same, I like Houston vs Dallas and Houston vs Washington right now, I'm guessing the odds for those games are through the roof.

Damn, I hope like hell we are able to regain our early season, Texans MOJO prior to the playoffs.
We are going to need to get on the same playoff roll that the Giants were on last year!

That was just pathetic from an offensive standpoint, defense was pretty shit too, but I feel like they at least came out to play. Offensive scheme and execution was just laughable.
I think I know why the Niners went with the fast young gun now, the offense we run just seems ancient, we're pretty much fucked any time we are down early. And even if we're not, every thing from a blocking standpoint has to be PERFECT in order for it to work.
