If they thought they were going to get air support from the Russian Air Force, they might should have contacted the Russian Air Force. Or colluded as you like to say.

Yes he knows there are Russian mercenaries there but he does not control their every move or he would have offered Air Support. That is why we kept in close contact with the Russians, so for it not to escalate. But it is complicated.


What we do know is that the position was held by our close friends, the Kurds. So that is who was attacked. We gave air support.
