Yes I do watch the news every day. That being said I haven't seen any reports that he was mentally ill. I'm not saying he wasn't and I am no way defending the fucker. Unfortunately even if everything they are saying he did was reported unless he was convicted of a felony it would not affect the background check because right now the background check does not include medical or mental information due to HIPPA laws. It is not the right or the NRA preventing this from being changed.
