LOL - Go WOKE, GO BROKE
Woke Bar Loses Customers Defending Bud Light Transgender Ad Campaign
A dive bar in southern Indiana is begging for more customers after defending Bud Light and booting anyone being 'intolerant' following Anheuser-Busch's partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvnaey.
The beer maker has received enormous backlash since the "365 Days of Girlhood" ad campaign featuring custom-made cans featuring Mulvaney's face. In response, millions of Americans have boycotted Bud Light and other Anheuser-Busch brands.
The Fairfax Bar & Grill in Bloomington, Indiana, however, is now hurting for customers after it hypocritically declared that it supports free speech - except for anyone who criticizes Anheuser-Busch or Bud Light.

Seems like the biggest supporters of "cancel culture" are the RWN crybabies.

... Reckon I don't see it that-way.
How does choosing a different beer to drink
akin to "cancel culture"??
Surely thought Americans have the right to choose
what they want to drink.

Maybe you don't see it that way, but many of your ilk do. They're the ones who coined the phrase which is used to describe boycotting a product or person due to political statements they've made, but they're some of the biggest cancelers. They've tried to cancel Kaepernick, the NFL, Nike, Dick's Sporting Goods, Starbucks, a book about Roberto Clemente, Constitutional Election Ratification, The Dixie Chicks, Garth Brooks, Jane Fonda, French Fries, Critical Race Theory, Budweiser, etc.

I guess if you can't sell the tranny beer, try giving it away
Bud Light to give a FREE case of beer to every wholesale employee as it begs for forgiveness after Dylan Mulvaney fiasco, as expert warns firm's 'compass is broken'
Bosses at Bud Light have from a free crate of beer to distributor employees in a desperate effort to recovery to the Dylan Mulvaney backlash
The brand will also increase marketing spending and accelerate ad production
Sales have plummeted since the brand partnered with the controversial trans influencer

Hanoi Jane gets canceled at least twice a decade, but she betrayed her country.
AB tried to promote inclusivity. Not conforming to labels, which the left and right have both used to sow division as part of inane culture wars.
Bud Light, Miller Lite, etc. aren't good beers to begin with. People don't buy them because they're good beers. And every major brewer out there is LGTBQ+ friendly.
So grab a Miller Lite. Or a Coors Light. Who cares? Drink what you want. It all identifies as beer if enough critical mass wants it to. Not because of fixed science. Because humans chose the labels and levels of tolerance for what can use the labels. And humans can change those labels too.

Attempts at damage control continue
Anheuser-Busch CEO FINALLY disavows Dylan Mulvaney Bud Light partnership and says 'it was not a campaign' after firm sent letter to retailers blaming an outside ad agency for approving it 'without management awareness' as sales crash 26%
.
.
Investors were also told by Doukeris that Bud Light will triple its marketing spend this summer in a bid to woo customers back to the tarnished brand.
The disastrous marketing bid has seen sales for the American flagship beer plummet 26 percent
.
.
Doukeris' comments came as a letter was sent to retailers, bars and restaurants by Grey Eagle – which distributes Anheuser-Busch products around St Louis.
It read: 'Anheuser-Busch did not intend to create controversy or make a political statement.
'In reality, the Bud Light can posted by a social media influencer that sparked all the conversation was provided by an outside agency without Anheuser-Busch management awareness or approval.
'Since that time, the lack of oversight and control over marketing decisions has been addressed and a new VP of Bud Light marketing has been announced.'

Interestingly, some of the increased losses in week 2 appear to be from non-boycotters who were turned off by the the reaction to the boycott and AB not taking a more forceful stance to support the Dylan Mulaney deal.
Something to keep the eyes on in both the short-term and long-term.
Multiple reports that the daily volumes have started to stabilize this week.
And for context, the losses account for about 1% of AB's total sales.

Seems to me that they’re just better at it. Bud Light is actually suffering consequences of their actions. If it’s only 1% like HD says, which I have no reason to doubt, it’s an awful important 1%, considering the actions their executives have taken to try’n stop the bleeding.

Gristle keeps trying to downplay this like it had minimal effect. meanwhile AB execs are doing anything but. They have
1. Shitcanned the people responsible for this disasterous campaign
2. Apologized
3. Committed to tripling their ad budget to try and woo customers back
4. Given free cases of beer away to every employee of their distributors
etc.

They're on paid leave, right? So the Tucker deal. Got it.
1% is 1%. It's why they're still potentially on target to hit their earnings this year and why investors haven't run away.
I'm sorry that big picture context hurts your desired doom and gloom narrative. This level of apology is effectively what you got. Well, not you. You weren't buying Bud Light so it's really not your boycott.
